Oh, you meant the NEW laws.
In this thread you lied and said I was against voter ID laws. I am not. I am perfectly happy with the laws on the books in Ohio. They take care of whatever voter fraud problem there is.
Your new laws were a solution in search of a problem, and to the extent of requiring people to purchase a state ID that would be the ONLY acceptable proof of ID, clearly unconstitutional, as that requirement is a poll tax, forbidden by the 24th Amendment. I am against those laws.
If you'd learn to write more precisely, we wouldn't have this disagreement. But you have a long history of sloppy thinking/writing.
Now I will go back to less tiresome pursuits.
The legislature is working on a new one, now. In order to keep students from voting where they live while in school, the legislature is proposing that should the become registered, they would qualify for in-state tuition. Their thinking is that then the U's will stop providing them with proof of residence that allows them to register.

Fraud was proven in Milwaukee in 2000 and 2004, and I think that the fraud not discovered put Kerry over the top.

Nope, I didn't lie.
You're simply an idiot.

And the photo IDs were to be taxpayer-funded for those in financial need.

Racism, xenophobia and anti-religious hatred of any kind goes against the core values of equality and freedom that our country is founded upon, regardless of who is carrying it out or who it is being carried out against.
It is not OK to target innocent people just because they are Muslim. Since Monday, there have already been two hate crimes reported, one targeting an Arab, female doctor in Boston and a second targeting a Bengali man in the Bronx. How is it OK to inflict violence and hate toward individuals simply because of the way they look or their religious affiliation? And even if we are not perpetrating it, how is it OK for us to sit by and let it happen?
Simply put, it's not. We must be better than that.

So a leftist nun and a poll worker, allegedly examples of trustworthy individuals, don't represent the tip of an iceberg?

How do you live with being so fundamentally dishonest in every thought and belief?

You know as folks--including federal prosecutors--go looking around for clues to what led to the bombing, one commentator last night was suggesting a comparison to some other two-person teams--Dylan and Kleibold, the DC Sniper, there were probably some others I cannot recall. In each case there was a clear leader and clear follower--to the extent that all motive and decision-making rested in the hands of one and the other followed along passively.
This begins to suggest some interesting paths/questions regarding the first shooter. Was he rational? If radicalized, was there a turning point of some kind? Was he led/trained by someone. Shooter #2 claims they acted alone, from internet information. Clearly not the most reliable source. But, if otherwise, what drove shooter #1 to go to Russia for schooling in explosives? Apparently he was sort of driven away from one mosque who found his ideas extreme.
Then there is the domestic violence charge that prevented his becoming a citizen. Danger signal? Decision point? A friend was murdered, gruesumely. Decision point, or was he involved?
While there a obviously folks who will follow the "all Muslims want to kill us" meme, that is not only provably false, it is not very helpful. Were that the case, what ought we do?
But, as it is not the case, we really need to sift carefully to understand which human interactions lead to religious extremism, such as can be expoited by various global groups.
I wonder if Paco and Annie are being watched.

ideology
/ˌīd&#27 5;ˈləj& #275;/
Noun
1. A system of ideas and ideals, esp. one that forms the basis of economic or political policy: "the ideology of republicanism".
2. The ideas and manner of thinking of a group, social class, or individual: "a critique of bourgeois ideology".
Forensic scientists must be wrong then. Hmph. Go figure. Interesting that you chose that definition.

Here is yet another:

An ideology is a set of conscious and unconscious ideas that constitute one's goals, expectations, and actions.

This is why you show how willfully ignorant you are. I've condemned any kind of subjugation by any culture, any religion, etc.

I don't condemn Islam any more than I do Christianity. I condemn them equally for being false, for creation division and for spurring violence and hatred as is evident here on this thread. I have Christian friends, I have Muslim friends. I think they're both nuts to believe what they believe, but that's their right to believe however they want.

And then there are people like you who are CINOs.
