Especially for people like Bob Davis. I kinda hope one of the Newtown victim's parents takes him out for saying what he did.
Look at the leftist calling for the murder of a man who dared say something she disagrees with.

The GOP has always been the pro-business party.
Calvin Coolidge's ideas are still widely held in the GOP.
The idea that the parties switched sides in 1964-1968 is a myth.
What existed before that was a liberal wing located in the Northeast, which is now gone.
The Democrats had a conservative wing in the South and in the Mountain West (believe it or not they once had Senators from Wyoming). That no longer exists outside of Montana, though John Barrow is the lone remnant in the South.
What it meant was that political parties would no longer be big tents, but ideological movements. That's why people complain about the "partisanship" even though the "party" has almost no power other than raising money. Three line whips don't exist here, people like Rand Paul can get elected despite no "party" support.
I believe I said there was a difference between southern and northern democrats. That is not a myth. The dixiecrats were certainly their own party is many ways.

The republican party under Lincoln is absolutely not the republican party that exists today.

<quoted text>Are you aware that blacks were mostly Republicans before FDR's presidency? Are you also aware that Woodrow Wilson was a Democrat and a racist? And are you aware of the relatively small percentage of blacks who lived in the pre-Great Depression North vs the South. Oh, and in the first 30 years of the 20th century are you aware of the animosity between blacks in cities like New York and Boston toward Italian and Irish immigrants who made up and controlled the Democratic Party?
Does being a democrat automatically preclude someone from being a racist or vice versa? Not all republicans are against abortion. Not all republicans are Christian. Some democrats are evangelicals. Some democrats are pro-life. And???

We can block Muslims. We simply need the majorities, or in my case, a country of our own. While you liberals get the refugees when we end the transfers.
We can. But we won't. I am definitely in favor of splitting the country up.

Why should I ignore any acts that have taken place within or around the British Isles? Why do you feel that doesn't count? Just because it doesn't happen here?

I don't differentiate between Catholics and Protestants and Lutherns, etc. You're all the same worshiping the same god and reading the same book more or less. Any violent act committed in the name of god is just that - a violent act committed in the name of god. Just as there are many different versions of Islam, there are different versions of Christianity. So if there are acts committed by Christians, why should they be differentiated? You don't discern between the different Muslims...

There were Northern conservative democrats.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_J._King
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Lausche

To name a few.

The Dixiecrats were a party only in 1948. Wallace formed a third party in 1968, but it was pretty much only him.

The GOP under Lincoln once included the Northern Democrats (1864), so in that regard it is not the same.

But to argue that it was the socialist party, as the Lost Cause supporters do, is barking too far up the wrong tree.

In Wisconsin they founded the GOP, I fail to see how Walker today differs that much from the founders.

This is an argument already made. The right tries just as hard to force their beliefs onto everyone just as the left tries to do the same. It's hypocritical to try and assert otherwise.

Our children are living with fear due to the insane immigration policies of the 1965 Immigration Act and reverse racism.
MFNP1979 is an atheist, idealist utopian, radical and a hard core socialist committed to multiculturalism, Critical Race Theory and redistribution.

Liberals will never admit they are wrong about Islam due to their pathological hatred of real Christianity. This mutual hatred of Christianity is what they have in common with Muslim sort of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is her logic.

Those are minority positions within each party, I don't really think most D politicans have ever demonstrated being pro life, in the regards to Constitutional Amendments and SCOTUS picks.

I can't name a single national D who is a real 2A supporter. Joe Manchin said he was, but his stupidity has destroyed his party in the state.

Our children aren't living in fear because of immigrants. Pretty much every mass shooting that has taken place was by someone who lived in this country.
Some of whom were Muslims (Major Hasan, Fort Hood) and foreigners (Seung-Hui Cho, Virginia Tech.)

Why only the 21st century? Do you think the events that occurred in the 20th century don't count? They do. And they are numerous, which is why I'm assuming you used the 21st century.
