These community leaders must be racist because they are targeting minority neighbor hoods. Hows come none are going up in Dublin, Lewis Center, Gahanna, Upper Arlington Oh yeah that's right, those people know how to act like decent human beings.
Decent human beings you say? Upper Arlington you say? A man kills his 2 young sons, shooting them multiple times and this is acting like "decent human beings"? Gahanna you say? A Gahanna resident hangs out in boys restrooms and blocks the urinals with paper cups so he can whack off and drink the little boys pee? "Decent human being"? I'm glad I live on the west side so I'm not causing any problems for these "decent human beings" in these wonderful neighborhoods you seem to be so proud of! Now, go back to your basement and continue downloading kiddie porn, or whatever it was you were doing as a "decent human being" when you tried to so eloquently express yourself when yiou were accidently linked to this forum.

You're asking why city leaders are targeting minority neighbor"space"hoods in one sentence and Why none are going up in the suburbs in the next sentence? You do realize that the Columbus City Council and Mayor don't have jurisdiction outside Columbus city limits, right?

as for the human beings comment, you should be ashamed.

Maybe they should just hire another few hundred police officers. That would save money and stop crime, right? And aslo, the majority of crime appears to bein the North Linden area rather than the south. South Linden is experiencing a bit of a rennisance but the north Linden area is getting worse every day. I grew up in the Linden Area and it is sad to watch.

For Weinland Park, how about monitoring the border of Weinland Park and other neighborhoods to protect the people who live in other neighborhoods.

I hope they can make the cameras mobile enough to move around.

The little tween perps in Weinland Park are VERY skilled manipulators.

All it takes is one little child COUGH I mean criminal to text all their friends about the location of a camera and the cover will be blown.

There are always a few bad apples in every bunch I will be the first to admit that. I'm just saying those areas don't have a entire barrel of rotting fruit with only one or two good apples. Who has a higher crime rate? Who has more theft? Which neighborhood would you walk in once the sun goes down? So your attack directed at me doesn't mean a damn thing sir. I didn't add other areas as I figured most people would get the Idea. I didn't hear any of the areas I mentioned everyday on the news as the summer of violence areas. I'm wasting my time, you know the facts you just don't want to admit them.

When I'm in a public place, I feel that I have no expectation of privacy. Anyone on the street can film me and put it on TV, so long as they don't attach my name to my image without my knowledge. This is currently the law and I really have no issue with it.
What scares me the most, though, is how easily these cameras can be networked together. With enough cameras networked together, the places that I go, public or private, can be tracked. This, to me, is the real issue. The government should not be able to piece together every movement I make simply because my movements are in public. The potential for misuse is infinite, and as of right now, the judicial oversight is nonexistent.

I hope the camera goes in the alley of 3060 steele ave so they can watch the crazy lady who lives there destroy her own house and steal other people stuff and blame others The reason why the camera is going to 3060 steele ave is because she has called the police of 75 times in the last 4 years She needs to go to the nut house I Hope they can catch her in all her lies

No the people that act like animals should be ashamed. I have moral and values, I don't rob, rape, or kill. I don't do drugs, I work 40 + hours a week. I help raise my child. I am not ashamed, I am actually pretty proud of the life I have made for myself despite the obstacles I had to over come.

Guys, crime is high in the areas that are getting the cameras. I am going to borrow Big Johnson's idea: you complain about the criminal deeds in those areas, but you get upset if they put crime cameras in them. Cannot have it both ways!

I am in favor if they prevent crime.
Do you go or live in any of those 5 neighborhoods?
If you don't..Why do you care?
If you do, you should be happy because there will be more vigilance with the cameras...If they don't steal them!!!
