I get that, and I agree with you somewhat. Problem is, they were wearing their uniforms, driving marked cars, and acting in the name of the state.

I think when you consciously make a decision to violate the rules or laws put into place, you are no longer acting in the name of your employer, but acting on your own, regardless of the uniform you wear or the car you drive.

As I said, there is a logical fail in the way things are now set up And God only knows how much this is costing the taxpayers. They need to be revisited.

I wasn't there. But two county deputies and a SH patrolman were, and they're legally obligated to protect people.
that's the point, moron.

Obligated to protect people who are here illegally and didn't care if they risk their life to get here. I say if you are here illegally then we owe you nothing but a one way ride to Mexico. Of course, they just come back. We have handed them our country on a silver platter and do not understand how they get jobs, free education, free health care and we know they are here illegally. Then they demand "their rights" Our country has gone to hell in a hand basket!

So, if someone's here illegally you think they no human rights should be afforded to them whatsoever?

Where do you get such simple ideas?

Yes, now lets take that a little further. American citizen of Mexican heritage placed in the exact same position by the police ends up dead because of officer negligence.

Then what?

in statute or the legal dictionary? That's the problem with you "lawyers" and all the "laws", words might not even take their original meaning (English dictionary).... and if you don't specialize in a certain type of law you probably don't really know much about it. Not sayn I'm not confused by a lot of it.... but that was the intent of the law usually anyways... to confuse people.. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/28/politics/28...

You're all scum. Even if you think you're doing some good... I'm sure its not charity, in fact I'm sure you're doin quite well for yourself as screwing people out of their wealth is a lucrative business.

I understand the concept. I just don't think an employee operating outside the scope of his employment (violating policy) should make the employer culpable.

I get those ideas from the illegals themselves who not only break the law to get here but after they get here they have no respect for the legal americans that they drive drunk, can't read the signs(how do they get a license?) bring in drugs. When they show respect for americans is when americans show them respect. Human rights are for people who ACT human. I am tired of affording rights to people who did nothing to deserve them and you and I can agree to disagree------my ancestors have shed enough of their blood for American to let illegals come along and take what they want for free!

Two questions:

1) How do you know he was driving dunk?
2) Aren't there a whole heap of American citizens who "show disrespect" by driving drunk, not obeying traffic laws, and peddling drugs?

The dead invaders family is south of mexico city, therefore they shoukd have no standing in a US court. What should be done is a cruise missle launched to destroy the pile of pallets and tin where his family of two legged rats live.

What "should be done" is to make sure that your parents and you never procreate again. and the schools where you attended never see another child walk through their doors for perpetuity.
