The only figure on FNC that claims to be an independent, is Bill O'Reilly.
He isn't a conservative. He is often thought of as one, but if you simply read his wiki article, you'd find that he is the closer to Chris Matthews than you'd think.
Again, unless you are an elected pol or an elected committee member you aren't a "Republican" "Democrat" or "Libertarian" (not even sure if they pick by primary or convention here). Just because you select a R or D ballot, does not make you a registered member.
O'Reilly would be offended if called a liberal! He's a conservative and catholic one to boot. That's like calling Phil Donahue a libertarian.

If you still vote for them, you're still one. Start voting for independents, Constitution party, my beloved Libertarians, all more conservative than the GOP.
Near the end you were shilling so hard for Mitt, I thought you were a paid staffer.
"Independent" candidates? Liked who? Bernie Sanders? Angus King? They're stone cold leftists.
Find me a viable Constitution Party candidate and I'll vote for him. I won't vote Libertarian because of their stand on abortion.
Shilling for Mitt = Trying to get Obama out of office. I don't see the issue there.

You realize Haney was the shrewdest and wealthiest denizen of Hooterville, right? In reality, it's the Haneys of rural America who end up in Congress.

You sound just like those windbags on Fox News of being an Independent. Next you will be telling me they are the only news that tells the truth. You are lying, and it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. You wouldn't be on here, if you weren't a Republican. Did you have your head hanging down after Obama won big time.
Being a party member means voting in the primaries, donating money and working for the candidates. I've done none of that since 2008.

And as a typical leftist, you classify anyone who opposes your messiah as a "traitor." The truth is, people like me are behind enemy lines in Occupied America.
BTW, I see Santa didn't bring you that dictionary and Constitution you so desperately need.

Great news for States who went for Obama. The billions in new costs forced on the States by Obama Care should help OH, Ca, IL etc reach their goal of leaving nothing BUT hopelessness, debt and misery to their children.

You know, I think George has revealed to us the roots of white male conservative rage.

He thought he was guaranteed a Ward Cleaver spot in a Leave it to Beaver world. He never came to grips with the reality that Ward was not only a made-up character in a made-up world, but a pretty insipid one at that.

Maybe someone should sit him down and make him watch the movie Pleasantville. Sort of a transition piece. Still fictitious, but it might help him examine the change from 1950's cardboard fantasy to 2012 real life.

It's an issue of basic responsibility, George. Like many of the Tea Party you have adopted an attitude of do-nothingness, accompanied by whining. Easy to sit on the sidelines and claim that others have got it all wrong. Much more difficult to accept ownership for your beliefs and try to bring about change.

You are doing nothing to bring the Republican party around to your liking--which would require such things as putting forward candidates and campaigning for them, supporting viable (key word!) legislation, and accepting responsibility for having a role in the government.

Democracy (even democratically representative government) is not easy. It requires an ability to deal with the needs of a broad society having divergent individual concerns. The slackers on the far right believe themselves to be ideological purists because they whine and wait for the world to come around to their point of view.

Insipid? So being a family man of good character, well respected in his community qualifies as insipid?

I'm not working for a party that has ignored its base since 1992. To bad it took me another 16 years to see nothing was ever going to change.

That's what happens when you consistently offend poor black and hispanic people while trying to win an election, I guess.

Really? Your sainted Senate Majority Leader is a "Haney" to the core. Ever been to Searchlight?
