Judged: 1 You don't know what a Libertarian or a true conservative is. There hasn't been a conservative on the ballot to speak of since Goldwater in '64. I guess Buchanan could be considered one. Reagan talked of Libertarian values and Conservative values but governed from the center. He talked the talk but didn't walk the walk. You misinterpret me. I rag on Republicans because they whine and whine about taxes and spending yet do nothing but make the problem worse. Right now the nation is in a serious crisis and whining about tax rates while we are going deeper and deeper into debt makes no sense. |

I guess there was no drug use happening anywhere near where you lived. No other vices that people all over the world indulge in. I've spent a fair amount of time in the north end. Don't accuse me of being ignorant of your teenage surroundings. |

You're talking to someone who voted for Buchanan in the 1992 primary. Then I grew up and realized his anti-Semitism was something I wanted nothing to do with. As I've made clear, I haven't been a Republican since 2008. I simply have voted for them as the lesser of two evils. And as long as abortion remains a plank of the Democrat Party, they'll never get a vote from me...not even for the lowest local office. |

Gee and you think giving away the budget surplus in the form of tax rebates and then cutting revenue while increasing spending massively didn't hurt anything. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/24/opinion/sun... |

How many gangland crimes occurred in Upper Arlington and Bexley during the heyday of the "mafia," Reader? Because I can tell you how many happened in Needham, Wellesley, Dover, Weston and Sherborn, Massachusetts...none. |

The North End is 95% Italian. In the 70s, the average person only sw it on the Prince Spaghetti commercial with Anthony. Non-Italians were not welcome unless they were obvious tourists. It wasn't part of my teenage experience. Try the suburbs abutting 128. THAT's what I experienced, with occasional forays into Southie and Dorchester. |

So in essence you're a one issue voter. That's hardly conservative. You're more associated with 'the moral majority' folk who corrupted Reagan's administration. Remember Ed Meese cracking down on 7-11 for selling that horrible porn such as Playboy or Penthouse? |

Equating abortion with girlie mags as a moral issue is beyond ridiculous and you know it. When single issue voting involves the literal shredding of over one million children per year in this nation, you bet I'm voting against it. |

Judged: 2 2 2 obama is the fellow you have been supporting here of late K..... He has been the POTUS for 4 years!!!!!!!! While I did not care for Bush, it is long past the statute of limitations on the blame Bush mantra of the radical left. I am going to need some of your magic math to convince me that he is doing anything to solve fiscal problems........ In addition, he is getting ready to throw the constitution under the bus yet again and attempt to control the power over the debt ceiling..... Meanwhile he is about to give somewhere between 12 to 22 million illegal aliens amnesty to assure an ongoing Democrat majority. As they are willing to work for less the construction union boys etc. can kiss their jobs good bye. I by the way, own a union IBEW company and have for 25 years..... His EPA is ramping up their war on fossil fuels so get ready for your utility bills to necessarily skyrocket........ heck what's not to love eh? |

I wasn't equating the two so much as to point out how far overboard those people took the party. We've agreed to disagree on abortion, I don't see how it's a political issue. Much like civil unions or gay marriage. Forcing books like 'Why Susie Has Two Mommies' doesn't belong in public schools for general consumption either. |

That's where you and George get into trouble with false assumptions. I supported Gary Johnson, he only got about a million votes. I didn't whine because realistically from reading polls it was assured Obama would be re-elected. Spending bills originate in the House. Obama puts out a budget and Congress either accepts or rejects it. Who's been in control of the House for the past few years and how many bills cutting spending did they put forward? They put several tax cuts forward but less revenue at this time is unwise. |

As long as the pain from Bush's debacles and the Republican Congress he had continues to harm the nation it's more than fair to lay the blame where it belongs. Without starting there, how can we backtrack to prosperity? Don't forget right after Bush was re-elected he went on a tear to get Social Security invested in Wall St. How many more billions or trillions do you think would have been robbed from the average retirement investor? As far as amnesty, gee, didn't Reagan do the same thing? I've not heard anything credible about Obama doing such. |

Judged: 1 1 I only hate those who are willfully and in many cases gleefully trying to destroy this country. That includes a goodly number of leftists. You leftists on the other hand hate the fact that we're daring to oppose you. Your ancient rants against talk radio while you control the MSM is a perfect example. Not a whole lot of respect for the First Amendment there, huh? But where we really get fired up is your attempts to indoctrinate our kids into your anti-God, anti-American, anti-life, anti-success, anti-NORMAL views on what the human condition should be. The tipping point is but months away after recent developments. |
