I have a Cobalt 06' I bought KSport Lowering springs, and It lowered my car 1.9 in the front, and 2 in the rear, I'm not happy with the end result, I still have gap, and could go another inch. My questions is, what do I do from here?

Can you cut custom springs?
I read all about removing spacers, etc. and also do struts have anything to do with it.

I really don't want to spend almost 2K on coil-overs, to lower one inch.?

When struts wear out cars sit lower so yes struts do impact height not jist ride/ load capacity

Depending on the shape of the spring they can bet cut shorter. Do not heat your springs that will take.the temper out of the.. Use a grinder with slicer / cutoff discs.

cut springs. Hacksaw off 1/3 a coil. Do not torch. Put back on and repeat till satisfied.

getting car to low will have you tearing up front of car body parts.

I have a Mustang that scrapes every incline or decline. Looks cool by stance, but adds $500 a year in paint touch up. Car looks bad azz, but in a real road race I would be bottoming out eventually render car undrivable from asphalt beating.

3" clearance is minimum you should target. Bare minimum. Don't forget highway trash like tire chunks, At 70MPH tire chunks tear Mustang entire front end off. Want to see pics?

That car will be useless when 2" of snow falls. Colbalts are not good plows, and chin spoilers tear off quite easy, sometimes taking bumper skin with them.

cutting the springs will give you a very rough ride. If you do dont use a grinding wheel use a carbide cutting tool. Best advice after that is to move out of Ohio to a place with better road conditions.

thats funny and retarded (more than you realize). How would that close the gap between the wheel well and the tire, genius?

Have it smashed.
Or, you could try standing on a ladder and look at it.
