Wow!
Try to get some pics....Nature is wonderful to watch!
You must be close to the river. I used to have the Chagrin river running through my property...
Miss that yard. 5 acres mostly woods and river! Beautiful.
as the crow flies, the river is about 300 yards.

The 1st 150 yards is city park.

I am 75 feet above flood stage on purpose.

When canoeing down river I regularly see eagles, and will try to get you some pics. We drive canoe to a park called high banks about 6 miles north and then canoe down river to park below house. About an hour and a half adventure. Quite fun when water is high, and you don't have to pull canoe over rocks. If you go about 10 miles north there is a rapids, and have wrecked every time through it when water is up. You can guess I am waiting for water to warm up.

I do....she gets a bit Hissy at times....and nips me.... Then 5 minutes later she comes back and head butts me to play more. So darn cute!
Beany hisses in her pit! LOLOLOL
I have pipe cleaners and make coils of them and she chases after them....at night she sings and thinks they're babies, and drops them at my feet or where I'm sitting.
Nice

The old Tom cat washes the face and head of the calico . She just turned a year old. She puts up with it for awhile then does a back flip and runs around the house. I hope she gets more cuddly as she gets older.

Awwww how cute! Sometimes Beany runs around the house like she's spooked....oops. Not intentional
.....lol
I can't pick her up....she won't allow anyone to pick her up. She is always near my side when sitting and or in bed. In the mornings, she taps me on the arm to wake me...she's always hungry. I feed her both dry and wet. The dry is always there with water.such a wonderful companion.

When I hang my hummingbird feeder, sometimes yellow jackets land on it and drink the sweet water.
My daughter has five beehives which produce the best tasting honey ever. Better than store bought.
Avon's Skin So Soft, Bizzy. Mix it half/half with water. I rub it on the bottom of the feeder and the hook or string they hang from. Doesn't bother the hummers and keeps all other insects away. Also a great ant deterent. At the beach I put it on the outside sills of all the windows. Never see an ant.
Just gave some to a friend for her house.

Sounds like my larger (20 lb) dog. She does show me affection...but on her terms and time table.
The little one is a rescue dog with birth defects. A true attention hore and the alpha dog. She thinks she's a pit bull.

Wow, that's a great tip and will pass it along! I heard it was for bugs but ants! That's great!

Bizzy, it is bloody POURING here and the hummers are still feeding. And 10' away, the Canadian geese are pulling worms out of the ground! Nature never fails to amaze.
