Oops! I will put mine out this weekend. Still too cold here for them to show up so early in the season!

How are you?
I'm not on as much anymore either!

None at.the compound yet. How are the skunks in your area? My skunk should have lots of kids based on his trips out this year. Good thing he doesn't have to pay child support.

They have places they can go under the fence. I have monitoring systems that can tell if something other than a skunk or cat pass under. One of the gals has a place back along the woods she has young but she is not too sociable. She has never tried to spray me but she will keep herself between me and the little ones last year. Maybe she will come around.

I hang dollar bills from the bushes by the side of the road out front on fish hooks this time of the year, before everything leafs out.

Got a few Republicans with bloody fingers in the neighborhood.

I used to have a skunk living under my shed...I think I told you this. He got sick then tried to cross the, street and was killed. Have had groundhogs after that and the last few years rabbits. Deer come by daily...they use the side of my yard for a path, eating every flower along the way.
There's a huge patch of woods across the street and they live there.

Want me to bring you another skunk? They will keep you free of yellow jackets. Skunks love to dig.out yellow jackets and bumble bees for the honey. Maybe you can teach him to guard your flowers from the deer.

Neither bumblebees nor yellow jackets produce honey. Yellow jackets will feed on and steal honey from hives though.

It would be my luck and get sprayed. It happened one time to my dog and that was once too many. My laundry room smelled of skunk for 6 months, especially when it rained. Thank you but I'll pass. LOLOLOL
I have four dogs in the next door yards who bark all the time....I am ready to kill......the owners do nothing...I have gone as far as screaming "shut the f@@k up" but to no avail. The guy just looked at me like a total dumbA$$! I can't even walk to my shed or sit on the patio...constant barking. I think I am putting a fence up on that side so they don't see me.
When my grandsons come over and play ball or even sit on the patio they never stop barking.
Sigh......

Bumble bees don't produce the same sa "honey bees" but they do produce honey like product. The skunks will dig out the underground nest a break open sack of it. My skunk loves the stuff. The same for yellow jackets. I suppose it is more of stored nectar rather than honey but skunks love the stuff. They also eat the larvae. Have a yellow jacket problem get a skunk.

When I hang my hummingbird feeder, sometimes yellow jackets land on it and drink the sweet water.
My daughter has five beehives which produce the best tasting honey ever. Better than store bought.

Are they beagles? Beagles like to run and chase crittes they probably just want attention. A skunk will shut them up.
