Congress now has an unlimited power to tax -- a power that enables government to force citizens to pay for any product they may not individually choose to purchase, and to provide that product to other citizens as well.
And if you believe Obamacare allows you to see any doctor you choose, you're grossly uninformed. But, that was clear upon your arrival to Topix.
Isn't Obamacare taxation without representation? The Supreme Court ruled it a tax. Over 50% of the citizens on the country are against it. Still.

And, Tip, does it not force citizens to buy something whether they want to or not?

Don't want to buy auto insurance...don't own a car.

Don't want homeowner's insurance...pay off your mortgage and don't buy it.

Don't want 'one-size-fits-all' health insurance? Well, we'll just force you to have it via making it a tax?

This administration has a lot bigger problems than Obamacare at present. And the cover-ups are just going to widen in participation.

Wait...I'll bet that course isn't offered at ACME School of Legal Secretaries.

Sorry, but you leftists don't get to interpet the U.S. Constitution via the lens of the Communist Manifesto, to which Spook alluded earlier.

I'm interested in hearing more about this. Unless you're going the whole tax protester route of claiming that all taxes are illegal (seriously, look these guys up if you haven't yet, they're pretty funny) I'm not really sure what constitutional rights you could point to as having been violated.

But I'm always interested to hear more.

liberty and the pursuit of happiness is being infringed.

when over half of everything you earn is re-distributed, how is that making me happy?

and my freedom to earn to provide for my family is being infringed.

what is funny is you think a freeloader should receive exact treatment from people, hospitals, grocery stores, as person waiting in line with cash.

The Government has hospitals paid for by the people, and anyone who can not afford healthcare should be forced to use the government free clinic. They are called VA Hospitals. With all the influx of new non paying patrons, maybe the fed will fix up their hospitals they under fund and staff.

Liberty and the pursuit of happiness being constitutionally protected?
(Hint: http://lmgtfy.com/... )

Could you illustrate which constitutional freedoms are being violated and how.

I've included a rough example below, if you need help with organizing your thoughts. We're not looking for high level thinking here, just a basic "I think A because of B" with a few specifics included. Remember, the question is how does government involvement in healthcare violate or interfere with constitutional rights.

Ex. I feel that mandatory prayer in schools violates the first amendment as it creates a context in which a government body (the school) is promoting a set religion. This could easily be interpreted as the government body working to establish a religion supported through this official act of promotion.

John Roberts is "set " for life!! He could care less about what a group of stuffy old cranky Republicans feel about him at this point. He's going to "loosen" up and enjoy the new social life at the WH that's more interesting than some tired ol stiff dinner party the Conservatives throw in DC.

Ol John will be at the WH with O enjoying ribs n beer, listening to Lionel Ritchie and Kenny G live! Him and O gripped in shoulder hugs holding beers watching big booty "video girls " walk by as Jay -Z performs in the court yard, along with an exhibition slam dunk contest between leading NBA stars!

John's put his middle finger up to Conservative politics because he knows they're DOA, and can't touch him. Party on as Rome Burns.

Somehow I don't believe your scenario is grounded in reality.
Something much more malicious is at work in the White House.

What! You haven't heard Rush, Hannity, and Beck complain about all the R&B concerts and celebrities that 'constantly' throw wild parties at the WH? They're angry because no invites were E-mail to them. Why, I hear that Stevie Wonder has a permanent bed room there down the hall from the POTUS and first lady, according to Beck.

Whatever...

That's not why Roberts would have signed off on Obamacare.
Even his colleagues were surprised.

I think the Obamas should invite Beck, Hannity, and the big fat idiot over to the house for a week long stay, and feed them nothing but collard greens, grits, and watermelon, followed by 40 ounce chasers. Give em all something to shout about.

I wouldn't know, but Roberts' overnight change-of-heart -- surprising and angering his colleagues -- remains inexplicable.

Why would any of those folks want to spend facetime with Obama?
I can only assume that you are projecting.

I, for one, wouldn't answer the door if he were knocking.
