I have to admit you're a hoot!. Uniformed but a hoot. I understand your point that there are some good signs. There are a lot more bad signs, like stagnant wages, millions of underemployed individuals, low home ownership and so much more.

Keep searching but perhaps you should also look at the bad news too. Good luck.

52K children have crossed into this country since Oct13, a 99% increase.

Residents of a VA community protested a plan to house thousands at a empty college campus nearby. They told them to keep them in DC and keep watch of them in our leaders back yard.

This is a planned disaster of the Oblamo administration. Their attempt is to force immigration reform on America. Sounds a lot like healthcare reform where they did it against the will of the people.

A govt knows best approach is dangerous. Those informed know this is nothing but a democratic voter registration drive.

America is struggling. A void in leadership and heading in the wrong direction. The first thing they should do is secure the border and work on fixing the economy that is failing so many American citizens.

If Oblamo is the answer, what was the question?

“Meh.”

The Oblamo administration is mired in scandals, coverups and lack of substantive results.
Whether he resigns or not, he is rendered ineffective the remainder of his term.
I keep hearing that America has lost respect abroad from people who, well, don't seem to have ever been abroad.

Could you talk in a bit more detail about what indicators make you think this and if it might be limited to specific areas?

"Fact" that an organization has a certain motto to fulfill gives no indication of a dominant theory like communism. That's just fkn stupid.
A motto is the stated intent of an organization, it is why they exist.
Look it up. From Wiki:

Motto: "...is a phrase meant to formally summarize the general motivation or intention of a social group or organization."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motto

The intent of ComFest is clearly to promote collectivist communism. Just because they don't use the word communism, doesn't mean that is NOT their stated goal. They do however, use the word "collectivist" which should give the average person a clue.

You on the other hand J.D., Boss Hogg are not average. By denying the "motto's" intent you further highlight one or more scenario, that I have suspected about you all along. Either you truly don't understand what you read, or you reject what you read on ComFest's website for the sake of arguing with me, or in a not so thinly veiled attempt, to further your cause. So which is it?

by flooding the market with monopoly money from the Fed, the market response is up due to buying.

when The Dems took the WH, Senate, and house.....you saw the selloff, all the way to 6000.

Now tell me why all these corporations with record high stock prices are not investing the money with expansions, and hiring at record clip?

HMMMMMMMMM.

And I hope your investment portfolio has recovered from Obama's election, and you gained back by now what was lost.

You want to see the stock market move....wait till the communists have been all voted out.

If the communists are re-elected, expect it to halve itself within the week.

Without the Fed, the stock market would be 9000 right now. But as long as Fed chairman announces 1% interest for years, and keeps printing money.......the stock market greed machine works magnificent.

Are all you poor people cashing in huge in the stock market?
How is this money laundering scheme working out for you?
Is your retirement account outpacing inflation?

Wall Street and Bankers love Obama for the windfall.

Stimulus has dropped to $25 B, and is shrinking, having been a success.....Market is up primarily, due to Corporate strength and cash assets, plus the fact that it is heavily invested by our public...an option to minimal CD and Savings rates.....

"...having been a success?" Are you really that clueless?

This money is all fictitious. It was printed with no economic backing. The market is up ONLY because of the hundreds of billions of this play money that's been pumped into the market. All berry's done is to devalue every dollar we have saved. The result is going to be very high inflation for a very long time.

My God, people like you who vote for people like barry soetoro are THE reason we're in this mess.

Wake up, please.

How about helping out Main Street?

How 8,500 large companies will become small businesses overnight

http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/on-sma...

In recent years the SBA has proactively, aggressively, and steadily moved away from serving the 98% of business with 1-19 employees, and is now focused almost solely on the top 2% of the largest corporations in America. In the last decade, no organization has been less helpful and more hurtful to small business in the U.S. than the SBA.

You haven't a clue about our U.S.Dollar, which has held it's strength well, on Global Currency markets, even setting records againest the Japanese Yen........Rise in commodity prices are fueled by production costs, transportation and corporate greed.....
