So interesting, you have added to what can't be legally reproduced. So let me get this straight, gay marriage represents the ability to not be subjected to taxes (currently the case before the Supreme court), to be able to get government benefits that you would otherwise not be entitled to, and the right to not be forced into telling the truth in a court of law when your partner is up on charges of some sort.

Well then, I guess we all should be able to marry anyone or anything we want then because hey, no one wants convicted because their girlfriend told the truth in a court of law.

That's most likely because the so called growing tendencies for acceptance is a lot of peer pressure which isn't valid once the privacy of the polls. They don't really know how to pressure you there.
