This case is different. A group of young blacks were at a gasoline station with Rap blaring from the stereo in their SUV. A man asked them to turn it down and they refused. The man claims to be frightened and that he thought he saw a shotgun. He got his gun and shot the 17 year old dead. IMO he is guilty of murder and he should pay the consequences.
Recently my wife and our 7 year old granddaughter was gassing up when a car load of black youths drove into the station. One kid went in to buy something, and the others stayed in the car. They also had rap playing at a very loud pitch. Rap can be very embarrassing to an adult with a female and young children. Who wants to be assaulted with the N Word, women being called bit---es, and various other obscene lyrics. I can understand the man's frustration, but BEING INSULTED BY INSENSITIVE KIDS IS NO REASON TO KILL.
It would be very good if parents and other people of influence would impress upon kids of all races that they have no right to abuse others with loud rap music in public. Kids now a days think that they world belongs to them and they often exhibit threatening or insulting behavior in public. Not only is rude behavior disgusting, it can easily lead to danger as it did in this case.
