Yes, you do. Makes you wonder, huh? Courts don't just keep kids away from their fathers for no reason. Every psychologist/child care advocate, CASA volunteer will agree that it's usually in the child's best interest to have active, frequent contact with both parents -- unless there are very good reasons against it.

I see as a mother two fathers who want to have time with their children. A lot of fathers don't care. Unless there was domestic violence I see no problems with them having more time with thier kids.

Those men did right! They should be commended for what they done! And not punished! Some women use their children as a way of hurting the fathers. Even when the separation is not their fault. Its mommy being the big spoiled child! We use the minor children as a human bargining tool or whatever. Isn't there a law against using minors like that? And it does work the other way too as men can use the children too. The State of Ohio says this is perfectly legal. Because if it wasn't, the State would have laws against this and monitor this. The State says its okay to use the children like this. The State of Ohio says it is in the best interest of the minor children. WAKE UP OHIO !!

The courts almost alway side with the mother. Initially, I would have only seen my children 2 hours, 1 day each week, plus 2 weekends a month. A total of about 100 hours a month. I had to fight to get more time. Why should I have to fight, they are just as much my kids as they are hers. I'm glad I did, because now my kids live with me and I have them about 98% of the time because that is what they want. If I would have let the courts have their way, they would be very unhappy children.

There was NO CAUSE for the restraining order. Two family court judges saw through the lies. The IL State's attorney refused to do his job to enforce Tenn's visitation order. http://www.examiner.com/x-6741-SF-Family-Exam...

It is important for parents to understand that there is a devasting cost to families caused by family courts nationwide. Courts make profit by destorying families not keeping them together. I am proud of both Paul Fisher and Donald Tenn for their courage act to bring awareness to the corruption within our judiciary. In my eyes they are true super hero's and need to be applauded for their actions not prosecuted.

To get a restraining order all you have to do is say you are in fear of your safety. Call and ask any lawyer if restraining orders are dangerous and used as tool in divorce an custody cases that dont even need proof to be obtained against someone.

If DC and Marvel can come together on this issue, then surely the rest of us can, too.

I applaud these men that have stood up to judicial tyranny and feminism gone bad in the courts. Children are used as monetary pawns by women on a daily basis. Restraining orders are handed out based solely on the mothers "word". it happens everyday. Court appointed "advocates" coach these women in how to testify and what to say to gain restraining orders against fathers.

Not only are there differences in the way states address custody cases, but due to the wide variations in child support, many custodial mothers do "state shopping", in search of states that require higher support payments, and easier challenges for additional support. In many states,Illinois being one, the payments are way beyond normal support and the custodial parent has zero requirement to account for how the child support is spent.I applaud these two for making this a point of discussion. There are many men who are being denied an opportunity to be more than a checkbook entry in the lives of their children. My only words of encouragement to them is hold on and be brave. When your children reach the age of adult hood, they will gradually see the injustice and flee from the hypocrisy and lies and reach out to you.....I pray for both of you as well as others in your position and for a happy reunion with your children very soon.

Not true, at least here in Franklin County. I had police reports, court documents and was physically harmed by my ex husband in another county. When I moved to Franklin county he continued to harrassed me and the courts here wouldn't use any of the evidence I had to put a restraining order on him. The only thing it did was flip him out more because even though the order wasn't granted, notice was given to him that I tried to place a restraining order on him. I'm lucky I still have my head on my shoulders after having had a gun pointed at my temple at one point in time. Restraining orders don't work unless the person is in jail or dead.

To get a restraining order all you have to do is say you are in fear of your safety. Call and ask any lawyer if restraining orders are dangerous and used as tool in divorce an custody cases that dont even need proof to be obtained against someone.

These Dad's should buy or rent a house or apartment next to where their kids live. The legal system cannot do anything about it. Thats how I got my kids back and legally and morally defeated their POS Mom which my kids hate due to the war she created.

WOW...you can tell there are many people who have never dealt with the family court or the interstate issues here...you have to be there before you can understand.
I am a mom who is very aware of the problems with the issues in this case. Not his story...been there myself. My good friend, a lawyer said 'I could take you to court and say you were from outer space...then I would have to pay the money to defend and prove I'm from earth!"
I also am a VERY strong and independent woman, but am very involved in the "system" and see the father's issues they are upset about. Now don't know if I could personally stay on a crane all those days...BUT IT DOES BRING ATTENTION TO THE FRUSTRATION AND LENGTHS PEOPLE WILL GO TO FOR THEIR CHILD.
Can you honestly believe if this man had something to hide...he would try to bring such massive amounts of attention to himself or his case??

Here's a revolutionary idea--if you want access to your child whenever you wish, try keeping your marriage intact. It may involve counseling, compromise, sacrifice, even keeping your mouth shut now and then, but if you really want what's best for the kids, you'll live with his/her/their other parent(s).
