How'd that last try at secession work out?
But for a minor change in the action at Gettysburg, specifically Little Round Top and its defense by the 20th Maine, it nearly turned out very badly for the Union.

Gettysburg was but a battle? Again, how'd that whole secession thing work out?

Here's a hint for you, at the first sign of any insurrection the Federal Government will take ownership of any of its property in any state that tries. The Texas ANG will be left with GW Bush and his type of pilots in unarmed, outdated craft.

As far as the midwest, you think any President will leave nukes behind?

God, you get stupider by the day.

Oddly enough, we watched the Russians, a rather nasty bunch, leave nukes behind in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
You make the potentially fatal mistake of assuming that the vast majority of US service personnel will side with the federal government in a time of crisis that leads to secession. Don't bet on it, especially in Texas, Alabama, Utah and Alaska.
BTW, the Texas ANG has Block 30 C/D Vipers aplenty...neither unarmed nor outdated. The only thing that will outclass them are Raptors.

You think all those troops who were forced into double, triple and quadruple missions in a nation we should never have attacked are going to side with the same folks who sent them there and under equipped and undermanned? Being the coward you are by having never served, you don't know what side they'll take.

I'd bet the majority follow the orders down their chain of command.

Oh, and retrofitted F-16's aren't what I'd call up to date. That's a 30-some year old plane.

I guarantee you, a huge number won't serve the left. Shall I remind you of the body count in Afghanistan exploding under Obama?
And speaking of Obama, he apparently is as much of a "coward" as me for never having served. Funny how he always gets a pass from you on that...
I already said, those Vipers are as good as it gets for fighters until you bring in the Raptor...and even some of those are with ANG wings in Hawaii and Virginia.

Beaner army elite? As much as I hate the Ohio State Highway patrol even they can defeat so called elite beaners.
The problem with you and most in the US government is that you want to follow rules, to capture, try and incarcerate. The way to deal with beaners, all beaners, is to kill every one you see. Women children young and old men. Kill them all. No arrests, no trials just lots and lots of buzzard food is all that should be in Mexico.
Nat Turner's attempt to do just what you propose didn't work out for him so well. Keep believing that skin color is the only indication of one's abilities to your demise.

Say what? First of all, the Loyalists were a product of the Revolutionary War, not the Civil War. Second, I daresay by the late 1950s and animosity between the Union and Britain would have long since passed. We nearly went to war in 1895 and nobody even knows about that if they aren't history buffs.
Read Harry Turtledove's books on the subject.

In the eyes of a largely uneducated, rough rebel soldier, a Canadian would have been fair game for a lynching as it was well known that Canadians, for the most part, and politically anti-slavery in the territories, a Canadian would've swung from a tree the same as a Yankee.

Escapist fiction that specifically contradicts actual events.

You had to be blowing the profs to get that claimed 3.1.

It's called SPECULATIVE fiction for a reason, Johnson. What do you think war games are? They're "what ifs" for the future. "What ifs" from the past can be equally instructive.
If you had gotten past you might understand.

Don't even attempt to discuss aircraft and embarrass yourself further. You still think the B-52 is brand new. Let alone armament and capabilities.

Many people get a pass from me who never served, actually most do, it's the know-nothings who pre-shoot from your tiny little spouts that get my gall. You know, you're all revolutionary talk until someone pulls a gun.

Are you aware of the upgrades on BUFF-H models that take their service lives to 2030?
I suggest you learn that ALL citizens have the right to speak about ANY aspect of their government. They don't require a "pass" from the likes of you.
