It sounds like you have a plan, Karl. It would be a shame to see you kidnapped and 'rendered' and tortured into revealing the details.

Your high resistance to pressure will likely result in gruesome techniques.

President Perry of the "New Confederacy" would call forth the militia and clean up the cartels.
Born.from.fighters.
Cartel gunmen have never faced a real army, and if they cower before Mexican militias armed with hunting rifles, just wait til they meet the Texas good ol' boys with AR-15s.

It can be a little deceiving to think of Mexico's drug cartels as simply gangsters. Instead, they've blurred boundaries between organized crime and quasi-military insurgents, seized swathes of territory and become some of the world's most dangerous criminal gangs. They've also acquired plenty of firepower to back it up.

The Zetas are one of the most disruptive and aggressive of them all. Formed by ex-military men who became armed enforcers for the Gulf Cartel, the Zetas split with their former patrons nearly three years ago and have since become one of Mexico's largest and most dangerous cartels. While most of those ex-military founding fathers of the cartel are now dead or in prison, they've retained a culture of military loyalties, if not so much the discipline and hierarchy. Or much in the way of taste. In September, Mexican police arrested Ramiro Pozos, the alleged leader of drug gang "The Resistance" and Zeta ally -- with his gold- and silver-plated AK-47. Meanwhile, coming up on Saturday, incoming president Enrique Pena Nieto takes office, the first change in the presidency since the drug war exploded across the country more than six years ago. Aside from reducing the level of violence, one of his priorities will be wrenching back control of cartel territory, and putting it back under the control of the state.

It won't be easy. To enforce their claims, the Zetas and other criminal groups like the Sinaloa Cartel and the Gulf Cartel deploy an extensive amount of hardware, nearly rivaling Mexico's own military. Police forces are often corrupted or threatened into compliance, and almost always outgunned. Here's a look at seven examples why.

Klaus, you're living in a complete and utter fantasy world if you think a bunch of yahoos with AR's will keep Texas from falling into the control of criminal Narco gangs such as the ones listed in my post.

These gangs, Klaus, don't work 9 to 5 like you stiff necked red, white, and blue boys. They are 24-7 drug dealing murdering gangsters, who will pay an under paid, overworked, local, or county law enforcement personnel to get addresses and locations of your children's school, your place of employment, your mother's house, your favorite restaurant.... you get the point!

Being a square 9 to 5 typical, suburban, white American stiff, who has absolutely no inkling of how the criminal underworld operates or function, your best ideals of how to handle a case scenario comes from Saturday afternoon John Wayne movies that'll get you killed in 5 seconds in the real world.

Yes the zetas are very nasty critters but they are just loyal to themselves and the highest bidder. They have no loyalties to each other that's why they make stew out of each other all the time. Stew is where they put a person into a 50 gallon oil drum alive and cover them with oil or diesel fuel and the burn them alive. They let them cook for hours so when the victim is found they are like stew or crock pot roasted meat.

You are wrong about texans not being able to fight them off though. The zetas rarely commit crimes in the US and when they do it's a quick guerrilla attack across the border and back to Mexico. They don't do a lot in the US because they know many are armed. They are almost always in large numbers. I think some well armed good ole boys could put a hurting on them especially if they were not restrained by the current US laws. If they had the same firepower as the zetas (aka AK47 full autos and M16's) and the ability to shoot on sight then they would most likely give the zetas a run for their money.

Los Zetas (Zetas, Zs) is a powerful and violent criminal syndicate in Mexico, and is considered by the U.S. government to be the "most technologically advanced, sophisticated, and dangerous cartel operating in Mexico."[7][8] The origins of Los Zetas date back to 1999, when commandos of the Mexican Army's elite forces deserted their ranks and decided to work as the armed wing of the Gulf Cartel, a powerful drug trafficking organization.[9] In February 2010, Los Zetas broke away from their former employer and formed their own criminal organization.

You are really sold on Americans are god's and everyone else on the planet are inept. You foolish gringo. Shoot sideways? Are you really that gullible to believe BS like that because you saw a black urban movie once with 'actors' shooting in that manner.

Much as I agree in sentiment, ain't going to happen for reasons already stated. The handout crowd isn't going anywhere. A struggle for the whole.
