Conservatives could run anyone and win in 2016.
It's time to depart from the long line of RINO nominees and RINO Republican Presidents.
Don't forget the Dems were happy when Reagan was nominated. Oppps

That's how the Dems got Obama elected, studying the presidential election voting patterns since FDR, they knew it was time for regime change, snuck in a 1/8 black, 1/2 white candidate and then any criticism of Obama's policies brings in the RACIST word. Pretty smooth salesmanship.
Obama's policies are continuation of Bush Policies but any criticism of Obama is RACISM. Blacks criticism of a white president is NOT racist but white's criticizing the same policies by a black is, voila, RACISM.
very good tactics by the ASP bka Dems.

You never know Blue. You could be correct.

The American people seem to have a short memory.

Don't forget though..... almost 2 years elapsed from the time of the Watergate burglary to nixon's resignation.

More details from the al-qaeda attack in Benghazi are coming to light every day and rest assured, it isn't going to be good for hillary or obama.

Heck Blue, by 2016 after you find out the reality of your new Medicaid policy and unemployment benefits for the chronically unemployed expire even you might be ready for some hope and change in a different direction.

Anyone up for the original topic?
Ted Cruz, Allen West,,,,,,,Prez and Vice-Prez in 2016?????
West, Cruz works for me as well.......
Have fun with it :-)
You know I'm not favoring Cruz and I thought West was yesterday's news. I haven't kept up with him.
I don't see anyone I would consider, so far, that would be bipartisan and work to unite the govt. And work to pass bills and not waste tax dollars like this congress has done.
Vendettas only divides and the people suffer. If I see someone I will be sure to post to you.

Doesn't have the ability or the will to cross the isle to get work done in congress.
Too too, far right for me!
I'm an Independent and I will be weighing candidate's, both sides, their abilities and how well they play in the sandbox.
Isn't that what voters should do?
I believe, if a member is of a certain party, researches, the best candidate should be selected, and loyalties to a party need to be reviewed if a voter is not in agreement. The main concern should be for the benefit of the country and it's people.
The GOP right now is in turmoil within itself which is not a secured show of command, and accomplished diddlely, wasted tax dollars, and had no regard for the people.
That's how I see it, but I have an opened mind and will see what happens......

Bipartisan logrolling got us to the current point. We need to have single party rule to get things done, eggs must be cracked to make an omlet.

We live in a representative republic. He did what the voters from his state wanted him to do.

Cruz campaigned and was duly elected on a promise to do anything he could to stop obama-care.
He was true to his word, given to the folks that elected him and at considerable risk to his personal political future.
Frankly a politician following through an a campaign promise without an eye on re-election is rare.
I don't see what the big problem is though......
He was willing to fund the government in its entirety without exception in exchange for a 1 year delay in the implementation of obama-care.

Frankly obama and the nation would have been much better off with the delay.

Although I admire that Cruz kept his word to the folks that voted him into office, I am glad he failed.
obama-care will be a major contributing factor in the 2014 take over of the Senate by Republicans.(The closest thing to a conservative that we can vote for with a chance to win.)

Aside from that single legal maneuver, what other instance of not being willing to compromise are you referring to?

You are counting on an undamaged Hillary. The Democrats don't have any other prospective candidates who could win.

The Democrats are headed for another beating this November, and the Republican traitors will be destroyed in the primaries.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2014/...

2016 is the GOP's to win, barring an amnesty for the invaders, which would sap the grassroots.

Do you mean there should only be one party or do you mean whoever is in at the time should do the ruling?

Just a quick search....http://www.politifac t.com/personalities/ted-cruz/

Actually, I am not in the political mode for the 2016 election yet. It's bad enough when the time comes so I am trying to cool it till then.
I can't be in a constant state of apprehension till then. Lolololol

"single party rule"- one party controls the executive and both houses of the legislature via elections.

"one party rule"-one party outright controls the entire apparatus of state

The state government of Ohio is under "single-party rule" of the Republicans. Illinois is under single-party Democrat rule.

China is under "one party rule"

While I would marginally prefer GOP single party rule for a few terms, single party Democrat rule for one term as happened from 2008-2010, isn't that bad for me as it generates a backlash.

You might want to consider.......

A lot of very unhappy Independents

A lot of idealistic young obama voters finding out that free health care is not only not free but going to cost them a lot more because they are being forced to subsidize the program whether they want health care or not.

Of course there are all those Tea Party Conspiracies.....

Benghazi, IRS, NSA etc. etc but hey at this point, what does it really matter eh?
