Why will this guy only get 26 years for plotting to kill and eat children?

Ah I see. He who has the biggest paycheck needs to be protected. And it's McQueary's fault. Sandusky was an innocent victim because he liked to do boys and McQueary was bad because he blew the whistle.
Yup. Gotcha.
He didn't make a judgement of good and bad, he was just providing an illustration of real life. Good guys sometimes finish last.

I have not followed this thread but caught your comment.
The poster / troll known as Big Johnson has repeatedly approved of and laughed at pedophilia on the Sandusky thread and other threads.
I've been here for a long time.
I think that matters and thought you should know.
This is not a critique directed at you.
I have seen some of the posts (not specifically on Sandusky) and I think I have replied in disgust to a few of them. I don't think pedophilia is an issue to be joked about. I show the same disgust when Bob celebrates what happened to those three women in Cleveland and even suggests it should have happened to me.

I don't know how anyone with a heart could mock the sexual abuse of a child. It's such a heartbreaking situation.

In my experience, "bad" things typically don't happen to nice kids. It's like the chick in Lancaster who pursued her coach. It takes two to tango.
Then your experience is limited. The man who was recently executed for raping a baby, causing the baby's death...I guess you would categorize that baby as a "bad" kid, huh? Maybe it was sending signals to the man that enticed it to rape? You're a special kind of sick person.

Oh no you didn't go there.
Homosexual tendencies are not the issue here. Pedophilia is.
As a lawyer, you should know that sex with a child is illegal. A child who is acting out sexually, by the way, is one who usually was abused.
Your post is so wrong on so many levels.
Thank you.

Listen to yourself Bobbo, I am guessing that again Walt luvs your logic.
Bad kids can consent to child rape right?
NO CHILD can CONSENT to pedophilia Bobbo. You're a lawyer right?
Really it's just that simple.
To argue otherwise is just your effort to mess with me or you are an idiot.
Decent people in a position of authority do not use their power and influence to molest children.
Those who do deserve to suffer the full punishment that society can administer under law.
We've been here before.
On this thread I find it hard to believe that you can bust Walt's balls but turn around and approve of folks that have committed an identical crime.
Take a position.
Sometimes I think the law is too lenient. It is well known that most sexually abusive predators cannot or will not be rehabilitated. Why are they ever allowed back into society? Castration for men and I dunno what the answer for women would be, but something should be done that would stop them from ever harming a child again.

That may be the way that you look at "real life" Bobbo but I guess that would be you and Walt and probably all the guys from NAMBLA that have that moral vision of "real life".
Had I walked in on your bud Sandusky in the shower molesting a child I would have stopped him by threat of violence and called the police.(feel free to call me a hilljack wannabe cop now as your fallback position)
The fact that you do not get that is telling about you as a man and your claims to have moral character.
I'm assuming you read the report. I cannot understand anyone not walking in on such a scene and not beating the man to death right then and there. I don't advocate violence, but if there was anyone who ever deserved to be attacked, it's Jerry Sandusky.

I really don't know how to reply to your post Tony.

I however did not see a qualifier in the quote of
"unless it's inconvenient"

re a subject that I have seen you post a lot about.....

Given that the jurors, defense attorneys and defense witnesses in the Zimmerman case likely feared and still fear for their personal safety, future job status and likely suspected that a not guilty verdict would result in mayhem......

I suppose that the best thing thing they could have done in their personal interest was toss Zimmerman under the bus.

Headhunting is the practice of taking and preserving a person's head after killing them. Headhunting was practised in historic times in parts of Oceania, South and Southeast Asia, West and Central Africa, and Mesoamerica, as well as among certain tribes of the Celts, the West Germanic peoples, the Norse[1] and Scythians of ancient Europe. It occurred in Europe until the early 20th century in the Balkan Peninsula and to the end of the Middle Ages in Ireland and the Anglo-Scottish border regions.

"Skeleton of teenage girl confirms cannibalism at Jamestown colony"

View Photo Gallery -: Reconstructing Jane: Researchers create a reconstruction from remains…
The first chops, to the forehead, did not go through the bone and are perhaps evidence of hesitancy about the task. The next set, after the body was rolled over, was more effective. One cut split the skull all the way to the base.
“The person is truly figuring it out as they go,” said Douglas Owsley, a physical anthropologist at the Smithsonian Institution.
In the meantime, someone — perhaps with more experience — was working on a leg. The tibia bone is broken with a single blow, as one might do in butchering a cow. cannibalism occurred during the colony’s “starving time” was never in much doubt. At least a half-dozen accounts, by people who lived through the period or spoke to colonists who did, describe occasional acts of cannibalism that winter. They include reports of corpses being exhumed and eaten, a husband killing his wife and salting her flesh (for which he was executed), and the mysterious disappearance of foraging colonists.

The proof comes in the form of fragments of a skeleton of a girl, about age 14, found in a cellar full of debris in the fort on the James River that sheltered the starving colonists. The skull, lower jaw and leg bone — all that remain — have the telltale marks of an ax or cleaver and a knife.
“Historians have to decide whether this type of thing happened,” said Owsley, who has examined thousands of skeletal remains, both archaeological and forensic.“I think that it did. We didn’t see anybody eat this flesh. But it’s very strong evidence.”

Let's see, a cartoon clipping posted by Nate as evidence of cannibalism or historical medical examination of actually skeletons and proof that white folks ate their kin for dinner, Hahaha.

I'm not talking about mere inconvenience, but life altering consequences. For the extreme example, should a person be looked down upon if they don't give their life to save another?

Personal experience also affects how one responds. What happened the last time I stuck my neck out?

keeping in mind that someone's decision may be different than yours, and that does not always imply that the person is a bad person. Just that the factors going into their decision may be different.
