A truly magnificent work of art: Flobama. Check it out on The Blaze.

I generally don't like Beck, but this is actually brilliant.

I don't believe the Glen Beck would waste his time with that. In my opinion, he's a pretty much 'what you see is what you get' guy. And I give him huge credit for going from a drunk to practicing non-alcoholic.

WTF is a practicing non-alcoholic?

Did you mean a recovering alcoholic? It is a chronic disease, it doesn't go away.

And there are pictures of Beck with his "art."

From the article:

Beck also intended his artwork to highlight the hypocrisy of those who complain about demeaning Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.

“If his image were defaced in the same way as Christ’s has been so many times, the backlash could indeed be deadly and the ‘artist’ in question pursued by U.S. law enforcement (as was the case for the creators of the YouTube video ‘Innocence of Muslims’),” noted the Blaze.

----------

Kinda overlooks the fact that the guy had violated parole from various online and other fraud felonies.

Did Beck want the guy protected from following the law just because he's a political hot-button?

Pardon me for offending your pristine sensibilities, you cow. Guess I just don't have as much experience with alcoholics and alcoholism as you do. But then, I am not more learned than you in area, am I? Yeah, you keep believeing that. Leave it to you to jump on the smallest mispoken thing you can find.

I looked at the photos after I made the post. I'm not looking at yours. They are titled 'urine appearing' liquid. And Beck's point to make was how differently society reacted to a smiliar piece, Jesus entombed in real urine, perfectly acceptable, to a like situation using Obama.

So Beck was making an illustrative point, for his viewers.

No need to worry skimmer....the new muslim brotherhood government in Egypt has sentenced Mark Basseley Youssef (who created the u tube trailer) to death along with 7 others who have offended islam........

The religion of peace would like him to rest in peace........

How long before we turn a Coptic Christian who made a protest film and others over to the MB in the spirit of international cooperation?

Of course I don't feel a death sentence, or any sentence for that matter, to punish free speech or freedom of religion is called for.

It's a purely symbolisitc, political move. Maybe to lend more credence to the 'video caused the Benghazi murders' lies.

I am a easy going person. Reader puts a burr under my saddle, which I've got to work on. No reason for me to be an a$$.

Looks exactly like what it is to me... I mean, isn't that the definition of a piece of $hit?

I got his point.

The point I was making (about alcoholism), albeit perhaps poorly, was not just about terminology. It has to do with people believing that they can stop being alcoholic. This tends to lead to drinking.

I was quoting from the article that was supplied by another poster--about Beck's art.

Do you just get up in the morning thinking about how many things you can disagree with Reader about?

Probably right after Cuba hands over to the US government the Black Panthers living in exile with large bounties on their heads.
