I take it you live in a cave, then. Wait...you'll soon be in prison according to Neutral Party. The poor taxpayers of Kentucky will be forced to support you even more.

That's quite a twist, wee man. One thing's for sure...they're most likely not paying their fair share.

Shouldn't she get to vote, and not you?
woof
Why should she if she just lives in the area and votes to stick her hand in my wallet and has no other stake in the matter--perhaps owns no land or doesn't work to generate taxes, etc.? Isn't that sort of a 21st century version of thievery?

A lot of American property is owned by foreigners. You want to let them vote too?
Yes, if said nation extends the same privilege to our citizens.

So if a Canadian national owns property in Ottawa County Ohio, they should be able to vote in Ottawa County elections. If, US nationals in Canada can vote in local property tax elections as well.

Similar to extradition treaties.

Ohio is a donor state some years, and a receiver state in others.

KY is always a receiver state because of the military bases.

Hilljack Ds and Louisville ghetto trash account for the remainder.

No. We are a very nerdy state, quite well educated, thank you.

Tell me why a Canuck should be able to vote on Port Clinton School levies merely because he owns a few houses on Catawba, rarely ever sets foot there, and rents them out to tourists.

So...then why, if I work in another municipality and pay that muni's taxes AND the one I live in as well, do I not have a say in any tax issues on the ballot in the municipality I work in?

And if I live say, in Kentucky and commute into Ohio for work, I am taxed and pay two state income taxes. But I have no say in one state's income tax issues, do I? Even though I contribute to BOTH. Many people do this. Why should I, if I am required to pay both, not have a say in both?
