Mecklenburg County Commissioner Kim Ratliff Under Fire for Racial Statements
by David Perlmutt
A Mecklenburg County commissioner is under fire for making statements with racial overtones that have some people calling for removal or at least a reprimand.
This time, its not Bill James, the longtime Republican commissioner whos been known to utter divisive remarks.
Its Kim Ratliff, the boards Democratic vice chairwoman, who told WBTV that shed prefer commissioners not choose a white male to be the next county manager.
In the first story, aired Friday, Ratliff, who is black, said the county needs a manager who is a nonwhite male who can have good working relations with all people.
A second story, aired Monday, had Ratliff standing by her statement, though she said she may not have used the right choice of words.
On Wednesday, Ratliff told the Observer that her remarks were taken out of context and that her intentions werent to cut white men out of the application process....

Yet, if a white person said the same, not choose a "black male" this would make national news.
Discriminatory on two counts, race and gender.
You see, we can't pick the best candidate anymore. Just look at the 2012 Presidential election.

Better yet, what if they said "black female"? We are a nation of victims.

Wow, another black Democrat spouting Anti-White Racism, almost like all the Democrats and RINOs want to import 30 million Third Worlders because they hate us...

1976: Jimmy Carter: 2nd worst President ever. Won because of Nixon's scandals.
1992: Clinton won because Bush to me seem disinterested.
1996: America in full decline as a proven adulterer who lied under oath, won over an inferior opponent whose time to be at the top of the ticket was recognized.
2008: Anyone the democrats nominated was virtually guaranteed victory, despite their incompetence. Another inferior opponent whose time had come didn't help.
All in all, I would say only in 1976, 1992 and 2012 did the better candidate lose.

McCain a treasonous scum would have been better than Fisty Hussein. On problem is the lack of uniform simultaneous primaries. I doubt if the primaries were all the same day it woukd have been a McCain V Osama.
