A gravely ill 95-year-old woman had to remove her wet diaper at an airport so that she could be patted down by security screeners and nearly missed her flight, her daughter said yesterday. Full Story

Did the A rab have to take off their "headress?" oh no that would be "racial profiling". How many 95 year old terrorists have there been as opposed to muslim terrorists. TSA needs to get their head out of their a##. I hope the next time my 4 month old grand son flies he has a FULL diaper, as in I have had enough of your crap here is some of mine TSA.

This is why we need a useable national passenger rail system. Flying is not even worth the hassle anymore.

Listen, the poor woman made have something explosive, but not what they were thinking.. We need to begin thinking about a national strike/boycott against the airlines. Less passengers and then will be less TSA jobs.

So what's the big deal? TSA has been going amok since formed. Most of them are pathetic losers. Their misconduct is condoned by their bosses. Give me a break. A ninety five year old woman in a diaper a terrorist threat? That would be laughable if not a symptom of our less than admirable public "servants." If this crap continues, Osama Bin Laden has won.

You dirty rotten people. What is this? A Dictatorship? How can you be so cruel as to make this woman go through this? Someone should take you out and beat the shit out of you. I would sue the airlines and the people that put her through this. You bastards.

Totally unacceptable on the part of the airlines, especially after making her take off the diaper and then not letting her be checked immediately. HOWEVER, also unacceptable that the daughter did not take the mother to the bathroom prior to going thru the line, as how could she possibly fly all that way in a wet, hard diaper? Both sides need a thumbs down on this one. and the poor elderly lady had to suffer because of both of them. I just hope she didn't wet herself on the flight or the indignity of that will last in her mind for the rest of her days. I am so sorry for her.

What makes you think train travel would be exempt from this sort of "guilty until you prove your innocence" policy? To be built a national passenger rail system would require federal involvement and open a door for the USDOT goon squad to enter. TSA has cart blanche. Any protestor is subdued, arrested and if nothing else branded as "pro terrorism". How do you fight that? You don't fly.

Certainly there were many parties who could have offered greater sensitivity. TSA has to follow protocol or someone will use a 95 year old woman to smuggle something onto a plane. And then the outcry will be great.

The airline should certainly be prepared with a store of emergency diapers, and it made little sense to take the woman to a bathroom to strip down and then return. And certainly things like this don't need to make headlines.

This $%!# doesn't happen in Israel where they know who to profile and aren't afraid to do it.
