The picture will come down and stay down and the Feds will go away.

Maybe.

It's typical Dispatch News Group reporting so who knows.

It's not hard to figure out.

They caved rather than get stomped in court.

It has been slightly modified and it is now a portrait of Brad Pitt.

It's because Atheists ARE second class so yes they should feel like they are.

Why? Because I don't whine about being Atheist and seeing a picture makes me feel like a second class person? WAAA they are second class, they know they are, or they could handle real life and not have to force their shit off on normal Americans.

I reckon at this point that it should be pointed out that, while Christianity is the majority religion in the country, it is on a gradual decline. In time, less than half of Americans will identify themselves as Christian. Most of those that do identify as Christian aren't really church-going, die-hard believers but rather have a rudimentary understanding of the most basic concepts, and a lot of false assumptions, and just sort of acknowledge the Christian God to some extent. The church should enjoy their majority while it lasts, because the day will come that they won't be able to boast that they're the primary belief system in the country any longer.

Thanks to the ACLU and FFRF and poor little butt hurt Atheists. This country is in sad shape and we will all pay the price, and our children will suffer immensely for it.

It was founded on religious principals, but the Atheists are destroying it bit by bit in cases like the one discussed here all over the USA.

Why do you hate the constitution? Why do you think Christians have a right to break constitutional law?

Don't get me confused with the ones that DO NOT know the correct interpretation of the constitution that truly do hate it.

Thomas Jefferson and James Madison would disagree. All of the Christians during the writing of the Constitution who declared it a godless document and would lead to our downfall also would have a problem with that statement.

In what way? Maybe you'd like to point me towards the Federalist papers written at that time that said Christianity was the basis for the Constitution. Or perhaps show ANY sort of writing for that matter from that time period that supports this.
