Blame Obama, not Putin.

If Obama acts like a donkey, he cannot complain when Putin rides him.

BTW, Liberals always run out of other people's money.

POLITICO Breaking News
03/03/2014 02:54 PM EST (expires: 03/03/2014 03:54 PM EST)
President Barack Obama said Monday the United States is currently examining a series of economic and diplomatic steps that will "isolate Russia" if it does not withdraw military forces from Ukraine.

"I think the world is largely united that the steps Russia has taken are a violation of international law," the president told reporters at the White House, before his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"Over time, this will be a costly proposition for Russia," he said.

He added that diplomatic efforts to end the incursion would continue throughout the course of the week. "We should be able to set up international monitors and [an] international effort that mediates between various parties, that's able to broker a deal that's acceptable to the Ukrainian people" and "de-escalate the situation," he said.

Obama also urged Congress to pass an immediate aid package for the Ukrainian government.

Only stocks that are directly related to Russia economy their natural gas and other resources are affected. Even so I would totally wait for another 2 weeks before I load them, it's been a while since we had a crisis which is the best time to buy. I made tons of money during 2008 and looking forward to beef up my portfolio.

It depends how old you are and how many years you have before you cash out for retirement. If you have 10+ years I wouldn't even touch it, the stocks in general will yield long term growth. Make sure you diversify your stocks to avoid volatility .

adding income generating assets a critical piece in my opinion.

REIT funds are real estate investments, and rent is income.
