In the present political atmosphere, I think if you could prove that Obama lost by double digits, he still would keep the office.

Someone, and I'd have to back and ask now who it was, told my boss that 800,000 absentee military votes were not counted in Florida.
Nov.5, 2012 The Washington Post had a full page ad of 500, high ranking military officer's names listed with their confrimation they supported Romney and looked forward to serving him as their Commander in Chief. I can't believe VA went blue. They have so much military and coal mining.
800000 military absentee voters in Florida? You wouldn't know the truth from bullshit if your life depended on it.

You make the mistake of thinking Hamilton and Franklin Counties are representative of their surrounding metro area. Those counties will likely never go GOP for president again in our lifetime. And Franklin is solid blue across the board aside from the suburbs north of I-70.
Alright, those specific counties tend Democratic. Happy now? I was speaking more in generalities about those areas of the state: the northeast, central Ohio, and the southwest.

Ohio's a real patchwork voting-wise, but differences between big cities and rural areas are common across the nation.

Your problem REALLY is that he won going away, by a landslide in the Electoral College. And you hate it, don't you?:)

Idiot. I didn't say whether I liked it or not, just stated a fact. Facts are CONFUSING to your kind, aren't they?

I wanted the Florida votes recounted without USSC interference in 2000, BTW. YOUR side were big Electoral College fans in 2000, obviously.

USE your mind...

Bush would have still won in 2000. The votes were counted by some colleges funded by a news paper and that is what they found.

We will never know, since a full statewide recount did not take place. Point is, the state tried to recount and the USSC overturned them and awarded the state to Florida, which meant an Electoral College win for Bush.

Actually, it was. Well, for all the votes that weren't counted by machines. But a statewide recount would have been exactly the same, votes ran through a machine then the ones not tallied inspected by hand and recorded.

Either way, Bush won until you start reassigning votes for Nader to Gore claiming the outside of the circle tick meant the ballot was inserted incorrectly and gore should receive the vote. But that isn't a recount, it is a reassessment.

Your comments make no sense - "Actually, it was" WHAT? There WAS a statewide recount? Or there WASN'T, as your next sentence suggests? WHich was it?

My POINT is that we will NEVER KNOW FOR SURE, and you've said nothing to refute that. No one's talking about "reassigning votes" except you.

If anyone's "reassessing" the vote here, it's YOU.

Just use your google finger and look it up. For all practical purposes, there was a state wide recount by a university and Gore lost.

go count some hanging chads; and decide if that was really what the voter wanted to vote for.

how many thousands were there, as we saw it on TV, boxes of votes with hanging chads.

Wow. Apologizing when you are wrong makes you a doormat and self-loathing? Where did you learn that? I was taught it makes you a decent human being. Thank goodness I wasn't indoctrinated with your "values."
