Obama came out today and cried, moaned, lectured, fumed, ranted and raved about losing his gun control votes. He pitched a fit worthy of a two year old Piers Morgan. He screamed about the majority wanting his legislation to pass, but never once acknowledged that our system is constructed to also protect the minority (gee, where have we heard that before?) He lost, and then he lost his temper. Poor form. And no surprise.

Now, flash back 48 hours to his remarks on Boston the day of the attack...no mention of terrorism. No passion in his voice. Just going through the motions with little more than a raised eyebrow in reaction to the event. No attempt to comfort the victims or residents of the city, no resolve, firm or otherwise in his call for justice. And then, incredibly, the same warning he used after the Fort Hood attack: "We still do not know who did this or why. And people shouldn’t jump to conclusions before we have all the facts." The entire presidential statement had the distinct feel of a canned, form letter-esque, on the shelf, instant, ready to go speech...just swap out the city and the names of the mayor and governor. Lazy, uncaring and disgraceful.

Barack Obama, you never cease to amaze...in the worst ways possible.

Now, we come to President Obama.

As a P.C. disciple, he's been rightly criticized for a stubborn--some would say suspicious--reluctance to call a terrorist a terrorist. Remember the underwear bomber was just incendiary briefs at first and was Mirandized within the hour, like an ordinary pickpocket? Obama's crowd still won't label the Fort Hood shootings as terrorism, which has unfortunate military and legal ramifications for its survivors.

In this case, we'll give Obama a pass. He spoke on national TV, by his choice, barely three hours after the explosions. It was appropriate that he not yet pronounce them terrorism. Even though he looked like an ignoramus. Two bombs igniting within seconds in the same place spewing shrapnel, much like two jumbo jets flying straight into the World Trade Center towers, are not accidents.

The 498 words that Obama did read from a script on the podium added absolutely nothing to the incident's information flow. They were designed like most of what he does to insert his face into the day's biggest story. And his press people's choice of timing was no accident either--6:10. Give the evening newscasts 10 minutes to set up the scene and then the big guy enters stage left.

Mark your calendars for the president's speech in Boston in a few days after a faux briefing he's already getting in Washington.

Obama's statement (scroll down for full text) did, however, perfectly confirm his narcissism.

The first words out of the president's mouth, after a strangely chipper and incongruous "Good afternoon, everybody," were not that it was a sad day for the country. Not that we'd all just witnessed an awful thing. Not that three innocent Americans had been lost. Not that, speaking for America, his heart went out to the victims and the city of Boston.

No. The very first words President Obama uttered about the Boston terrorism were revealingly all about him: "I was briefed by my homeland security team."

Seriously? Who cares? The news would have been if the president hadn't been briefed. Looks like a certain Democrat Oval Office occupant really is feeling defensive about having disappeared to bed or somewhere during the Benghazi murders and non-rescue last 9/11.

I watched part of it. The local news I had on cut to it as the scumbag from newtown was finishing. That podium was full of anti amercan vermin stealing oxygen while trying to wipe their ass with constitution

And they rolled Giffords out on her sneaker skates, too. But no sign of her sleazy hypocrite husband...he may have burned his bridges to Obama after that gun store fiasco.

OR SOMEWHERE? Like Reggie Love somewhere. And if this filthy scumbag imposter throws a tantrum because he can't disarm us, then that MF-er should have foreseen his ZERO credibility after he ran guns to the mexicartels.

Here's something else that the stain is throwing a tantrum over:
http://www.barenakedislam.com/2013/04/17/bara...

"..‘but the Obama administration has continued to cut the budget for offices such as the Office for Bombing Prevention from $20 million started under Bush, to $11 million today.’

There is a pic of a guy's leg bone showing that his foot is now blown to smithereens and scattered across the block. Better orchestrate a n athrax-like attack so as to gin up sympathy.

Johnson (plural), like Che is a reactionary poster, they never start anything.

Teapublican is a troll, but does contribute original content.

Quick note to Karl:

George's threads almost never start with an original thought.

Thank you. Carry on.

George has never had an original thought in his life. All of his opinions are written by somebody else. And his taste in cut and paste content is quite questionable.

Instead of calling for calm and reason, President Obama should have encouraged all Americans to wildly speculate about the source of the bomb and accuse any participant in the marathon who has a funny name.

He didn't care about Boston. That was obvious yesterday, and in your face today when you contrast it to his temper tantrum over the gun vote.

Holder lost his chance to get the registry. So his Black Panther and MS-13 goons can't confiscate.
