What's a "coverag"? Did you mean "cove rag"?

Those over 50 are expected to subsidize the free birth control.

Yes, and get this - she's union. They told her to start using the exchanges and now she has worse insurance!

I've heard of people losing their coverage but Obama is pushing the dates back so the Democrats won't lose the next election.

Don't all or most union members have group rate insurance premiums? Since when do they have to search out their own coverage?

Not sure about that, but Obamacare originally had heavy union support. Small businesses opted in a number of situations to stop providing the group insurance and instead encourage their employees to go on the exchange. I know of at least one person who had that happen to her, but she's not union.

I am getting regular e mails from the IBEW whining about obama care. Oddly, being a leftist organization they were for it big time before they were against it....LOL

The electricians union has negotiated contracts with employers for a percentage of wage additional contribution from employers for health care. The union purchases the group policies.
The contracts are still in force and until a future contract renegotiation the rate can not be raised (unlikely in this economy). The union "was" making big bucks on the excess....

I guess they found out what was in it..........oops..........

I still wonder why the dummies are for obama amnesty which will be the final nail in their coffin.....

Because they are also working for training requirements that can't be met by small employers thus they believe will create new union membership.

Unions are historically, radically and blindly Democrat supporters. This time, among many times they have been horribly shafted. What would you like to bet that next election, they will still be radically Democrat?

Maybe they should have read the law before they supported the law.

The Affordable Care Act: A Guide for Union Negotiators
EMPLOYEE DEMOGRAPHICS
In workplaces in which many workers have low family incomes and are citizens or permanent
residents, union members may generally be better off purchasing subsidized coverage in the
exchange and receiving increased wages from their employer in lieu of health benefits. Similarly, older workforces who are subsidy-eligible may be better off in the exchange because their premium contribution is limited to a set percentage of income regardless of their age, while large group plans outside the exchange will be allowed to continue to set premiums based on the age of the workforce.

Those seeking family coverage may also be better off in the exchange. Finally, undocumented workers will not be able to purchase coverage in the exchange, with or without subsidies. For bargaining units with primarily low-wage workers, unions may want to survey members prior to bargaining to understand family income, family size, age, and current source of coverage, in order to make informed decisions about whether the union would be better off negotiating for wages in lieu of health benefits for some or all of the members in the unit. See a sample survey of workers.

The real question is how many people now pay more or altered their plan. Not how many lost coverage. Dropping your plan is a choice. Oh yeah, and its illegal not to have coverage.
