CBS released information on the Benghazi 9-11 massacre today that could potentially bring down the Obama Administration.

Buried in their report (down in paragraph eight) CBS reported,“Throughout the night, sources say Americans on the ground in Libya at times felt helpless and abandoned… But they were told immediate help wasn’t available.” But, counterterrorism sources and internal emails reviewed by CBS News express frustration that key responders were ready to deploy, but were not called upon to help.
CBS reported:

Throughout the night, sources say Americans on the ground in Libya at times felt helpless and abandoned.

“We relied on Washington for dispassionate assessment,” one eyewitness told CBS News.“Instead, they [Washington officials] were asking us what help we needed. We answered:‘Send reinforcements!’”

But they were told immediate help wasn’t available.

Embassy personnel say they repeatedly asked the Defense Attache on site in Tripoli for military assistance.

“Isn’t there anything available?” one Embassy official says he asked.“But the answer was ‘no.’”

“What about Aviano?” the official pressed, referencing the NATO air base with US assets in northeastern Italy.“No,” was the answer.

Two of the four Americans killed that night died hours after the first attack began…

…Counterterrorism sources and internal emails reviewed by CBS News express frustration that key responders were ready to deploy, but were not called upon to help in the attack. National Security Council Spokesman Tommy Vietor told CBS News the CSG was not needed.

This is very interesting information. It seems to go along with a report that I heard that there were 15 special ops in Tripoli ready to go and were told to 'stand down.' Now, was that before or after Obama went to bed?

And the old rumor that General Hamm was going to disobey orders and go in, and was removed from his command briefly.

Going to be an interestng week. Good for CBS.

This isn't news to me. I knew from the beginning that the requests from Benghazi were ignored, then covered up. What bothers me about this most is the media has shown they can't be objective.

Instead of good journalism we have cheerleaders that report what they're told. This was the big cover up during the 2012 election. Romney should have gone after Oblamo on this.

American's died and to hear SOS Clinton saying "what difference does it make" pisses me off even more. A video? Two weeks later, a video.

I only hope there aren't more attacks during the second term because this administration doesn't protect it workers or its people. It seeks to follow an agenda of immigration, gun control and gay rights.

The war on terror is alive and well, at least from those that want to kill Americans.

Oliver,
Screw you for not caring about those American's that were working for the US government, were attacked and killed.

My only wish was that it was you or your family that was there.

Normally, I'd agree, but CBS may actually be the catalyst that exposes this crime. Remember...even with Democrats, the media often goes for the scandal in a second term. Clinton found that out.

Now all of a sudden the lamestream media is your darling. Particularly the network that lied about GWB's Air National Guard service.

Very interesting...

Silly Sterling...
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Last night, I watched the Israeli Air Force smack Syria, as Muslim rebels chanted "Allahu Ackbar" in agreement with the Jews.

That's how this planet works today, dude.

I disagree. First of all he is not praising them but merely stating they are doing their job. Nice try.

Sounds like they were slow to react, covered up and then tried to silence those that knew.

Rather than the gay BB player that came out, I say these whistle blowers are courageous.

Funny Mr. Military Guesser, right after this you kept harping that help was available from Sigonella. I told you that base isn't structured for such and all they really had were P-3's with Harpoon missiles, not effective.

I did mention that the closest aid most likely would be from a carrier (I also said they are never where they tell us they are, when) The only other base was...that's right Aviano.

Nothing you've claimed is in CBS's report and what you've presented is a spinned version of that.

Go back to your G.I. Joe with kung fu grip.

Are you going to tell us that the carrier was Independence, K? And that Iowa was in the area as well?
Your military credibility died on that other thread.
