The majority of residents in Columbus do not appreciate art.

Just like Detroit, it will be sold at auction to pay bills.

Hope he set aside an equal amount for the repair/replacement of said artwork once damaged by vandals.

How about buying some new tires for those plow trucks. I saw one burning rubber trying to turn around this morning

Because Heterosexual White Males drive snow plow trucks no money will go to them. Look for this "art" cash to end up in the pockets of Blacks and Gays.

Maybe he should stock up on salt instead. Even with free admission on Sundays at the Art Institute, there is no broad appreciation of art in this town.

Democratic Mayor Michael B. Coleman still hasn't figured out the difference between wants and needs. Columbus "needs" government art like it "needs" a casino funded NHL team.

I doubt Michael McCheese would even know what real art is. Columbus needs art like Frankie needs another bottle.

Good idea, Coleman.
Why don't you paint a mural of the Alamo on the side of every Home-Depot and Lowe's?
Or, How about a mural of Black Hawk Down on the side of every jihad store in town.
Maybe paint a Mexican flag on the unemployment office's front door.
Maybe graffiti "Take is easy" on the window of FCDJFS.
Maybe a free bonus banner to small businesses: "Stick around, someone will buy something sooner or later"
