COTA has traveled far in four decades

They need to jack up the fares and cut taxes. What else has increased in price only 400% in the last forty years? Not the price of gas; not the price of cars; not the price of insurance.
The taxpayers who pay for most of COTA are paying ten times more for their own transportation than forty years ago so the riders need to step up and pay their fair share.

I'm calling for a new paint job and graphics scheme on the buses. A doo rag on the front and pants halfway down to the knees on the back. And in the middle a giant "Nationalized Population Transportation Mobile" with some ebonic subtext indicating a no weapons policy aka defenseless victims on board and using ANC color scheme.
