The number of homeless people recorded in city shelters each night has topped 50,000 for the first time, a new report has found.

An average of 50,135 people including 21,034 children slept in shelters each night in January, the Coalition for the Homeless said.

The report released Monday said there are now more homeless people in the city than at any time since the Great Depression....

So good to have a president and administration with a finger on the pulse of the economy. And to see government operate so efficiently without a budget for five years.

Credit card debt for an individual is considered 'derogatory.' Apparently for a nation is is an attribute. We're doomed.

However the media never hold Obama accountable for any of the negative things with the economy, let alone the homeless. Obama is always able, with a huge assist from the media, to blame "white folks" whose greed drives a world in need.(Dreams from my Muslim Father, Barak Insane Obama).
