Sounds like you'd like a return to 1863.
Is that what you're saying?
Hard to tell, given that you always speak in tongues.

Where did I say that, dawg?
You have a serious reading comprehension deficit.
Seek taxpayer-funded assistance at your local library.

Arsebackwards. YOU inferred it.
Actually, you invented it.
Because I did not imply it.

When you go for reading lessons, hit up some vocab as well.
And don't neglect the history.
Maybe then you'll recognize an historical correction when you read one.

I'm sure you've got accurate polling statistics to back that up.

polls are tomato plant stakes.

who cares what a poll says when you only poll those you already know the answer from?

the only poll that matters is election results, and results point out underlying problems immediately.

like twice people voted for what the government was going to give them.

for 5 years they wail and complain, and are worse off than 5 years ago, and slipping further behind.

Those that voted twice against the hope and change have most likely improved their life in 5 years due to their own behaviors and work in majority.......defiantly would not be the case for those with their hands out.

Of course you didn't say it. You don't have the guts to say anything. You are all innuendo and Bible verse, that way you don't have to take responsibility for anything.

Who knew you could go more off-topic than your dad? Just wow.

A mere historical correction has been twisted into a deceitful double play by the resident leftists:

1) race card
2) anti-Christian

Does the party send you a bonus?
Or will Duke's corn cob do?

Since you cannot follow a discussion and merely chime in on various threads to echo the false accusations of your dad...I suggest you close your pie hole.

"Infer" may be used to describe what the person conveying the message is doing, or it may instead be used to describe what the person receiving the message is doing.

"What?" exactly is that you write in passive/aggressive innuendo so that you can maintain your ability to deny. It's quite a cowardly way of doing things.

Thanks...Webster's confirmed what we already knew.

"Sir Thomas More is the first writer known to have used both infer and imply in their approved senses (1528). He is also the first to have used infer in a sense close in meaning to imply (1533). Both of these uses of infer coexisted without comment until some time around the end of World War I. Since then, senses 3 and 4 of infer have been frequently condemned as an undesirable blurring of a useful distinction. The actual blurring has been done by the commentators. Sense 3, descended from More's use of 1533, does not occur with a personal subject. When objections arose, they were to a use with a personal subject (now sense 4). Since dictionaries did not recognize this use specifically, the objectors assumed that sense 3 was the one they found illogical, even though it had been in respectable use for four centuries. The actual usage condemned was a spoken one never used in logical discourse. AT PRESENT SENSE 4 IS FOUND IN PRINT CHIEFLY IN LETTERS TO THE EDITOR AND OTHER INFORMAL PROSE, NOT IN SERIOUS INTELLECTUAL WRITING. THE CONTROVERSY OVER SENSE 4 HAS APPARENTLY REDUCED THE FREQUENCY OF USE OF SENSE 3."

You refer to the Civil War as the "war of Northern Aggression" while playing coy with the fact that human slavery is a social and moral abomination regardless of legality.

Seems to me that of the two of us, you are the one espousing anti Christian rhetoric, not me.

Since when did you become a moral absolutist?

Slavery isn't immoral, it's just obsolete and uneconomically stupid.
