They report real news stories, just on a humorous level. Yes, Entertainment is the main focus. But that can be said about most news shows.

You're wrong, as usual. He has to pay tax on any interest income earned by those accounts from 1/1/13 through 12/31/13; or any other income i.e. dvidends, etc.,during the same period if 12/31 is his fiscal year end. My boss's Y/E is 7/31, as I believe is Mitt Romneys.

Stay out of accounting. You know zip about prep and/or foreign income earrned by a citizen of the USA.

us ignorant people don't need babysitting from Uncle Obama like you, and actually have to pay them to watch you because you can't.
I guess all the people that started their own business and never complained about unemployment, and made their own job are the stupid people on earth.
I agree....every self employed person needs to go on strike, and quit paying taxes completely. They can issue all the liens they want, but won't have money to pay someone to enforce the law.
Us people who can't think for ourselves, and don't need government to do anything but get out of the way, are the problem according to smart people like you.
Do you hit your retirement plan yesterday, or just waste your food stamp money again, and now we are going to hear you cry you are hungry.
Actually there is a quite legal way to bring the government to their knees through the elimination of tax revenue being transferred to them weekly.

Legally every working citizen in the USA can go to their employer and request a new W-4 form and claim 12 dependents for federal tax WITHHOLDING. Virtually nothing would be deducted from their paycheck's in the form of federal withholding tax.(FWT)

State and local withholding, social security and medicare would still be deducted.
THE ONLY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS IS TAX REVENUE. They would be strangled within two weeks of no tax revenue coming in.

Now, at the end of each quarter (three months) each individual would legally HAVE to make an estimated federal tax payment to the government. The form is available online and I suggest, write a check to make the payment.

Handling the checks v. electronic transfer of the tax due would also prove to be quite trying for them.

Employer and employee would be in full compliaance with the law.

corporations on a regular basis point expenditures to a certain year.

corporations operating on a cash calendar year with pass through profits to ownership, often have heavy 4th quarter expenditures to limit tax liability.

PS: over the past 60 days over 1000 corporations have moved HQ out of the states.

Let the ACA fail or succeed on its own. I hope they fix it. It could help a lot of people who need insurance.
Could you please give me some of those examples if the wingnut lunatics view of the nation? With you never watching FOX news, I'm very interested in those views you speak of. MSNBC is pure opinion. That opinion consists of Republicans are bad, racist, sexist 24/7. FOX actually has different opinions, and they actually talk about news. Not politics 24/7. They are a lot more pleasant to watch than the very angry so called news people on MSNBC. That's a fact.

First:

The other day Sean Hannity featured some Real Americans telling tales of how they have been hurt by Obamacare. So Eric Stern, who used to work for Brian Schweitzer, had a bright idea: he actually called Hannity’s guests, to get the details.

Sure enough, the businessman who claimed that Obamacare was driving up his costs, forcing him to lay off workers, only has four employees — meaning that Obamacare has no effect whatsoever on his business. The two families complaining about soaring premiums haven’t actually checked out what’s on offer, and Stern estimates that they would in fact see major savings.

Megyn Kelly showing time and time again just what kind of dummy she is...

Fox and Friends? I've never seen such a collection of lunkheads and bullshit artists on one news show and still be considered a news show, by anyone other than a Faux news sheep.

If you read any of my previous posts, I said I watch Faux news on occasion. Reading is fundamental.

Any other questions?

While the consulting fees associated with complying with the ACA will not be non-existent, they will also not be the astronomical sums you suppose.
The State of New York can only offer tax abatements in the State of New York. Those businesses will still have to pay federal taxes.
Only two things you have to do in this life, Walter: die and pay Uncle Sam. He'll find you eventually.
astronomical sum is in the eye of the person writing the check for staying in compliance for a problem nobody working at the company had while employed there.

Maybe the billion the government wasted on a website will be compounded by a loss of 10 billion in tax revenue because of business expenses written off to stay in compliance with a law that only penalizes them to begin with.

$5 is astronomical then. But I bet 125 human hours per business is fair at bare minimum. As employe count escalates, so does time.

And thanks for clearing up what I stated earlier. Now a business can move to NY avoiding state income tax for 10 years. The Fed tax of 35% feels much better now. How much is city tax?

This is quite funny due to have many businesses NY ran South because of high taxes.

Once bitten, twice shy....thanks for the offer though.
