Look at the Middle East before and after Obama.
Obama warned Syria if they used chemical weapons it would be "a game changer" Well they used them. And the game didn't change. This is weakness and the world knows it.
We are becoming more hated by the world. Now Latin America is out in the streets demonstrating against us too.
Campaign promises all broken. Promises of transparency end up being the most secretive administration in a long time.
Yes we can! But won't. And didn't. But it's all Bush's fault.
Middle East! That's been a mess since Israel was established and most of the problems come from Reagan, corporate greed and oil...So you want to go to war with Russia? Their Syrian military base and the fact that Bashar al-Assad cry babies to them and China is the only thing stopping us. Latin America is a whole different thing and some of them do have good cause to hate Americans, but it's mostly that same spin of England vs Spanish with a twist of history.

Get over it. Her lie caught up with her.... Period.....Game over!
Maybe she can get a teaching job in an Islamic school? Do you think the "Big Pro Gay" Group of Americans would rush to condemn the Islamic leaders if she was fired there for the same reason? They probably wouldn't say a word even if she was beheaded by them. It seems that controlling by fear is a tactic used by many groups these days.

Yes. The Middle East. I'd love for you to attempt to tell me it's better than it was 5 years ago. You got the floor Spice Boy. Shoot.

RCC condemns elective abortion.
The lesbian should have been more discrete if she wanted to keep her job.
The RCC is now especially sensitive to queers in positions of authority over children, after the debacle of male priest queers sodomizing boys under their charge.
That is so true, we need to protect our children from potential abuse.

I don't think those exemptions cover illegal acts. What if, for an extreme example, they started stoning adulterers to death?
There have been some similar cases--typically parents who deny their children medical care because they believed that prayer and faith are sufficient. And some churches have been charged with abusive punishments (flogging and the like), although I think primarily when inflicted on minors.

But simply being a violation of workplace protections under the law is not sufficient, if a ministerial exemption is invoked.

What was interesting to me about Hannah-Tabor is that the church-sponsored school argued that they could not be held to workplace protections under the Americans with Disablities Act due to the ministerial exemption. Personally, as a Christian, I find it offensive for a church-sponsored organization to use religion as an excuse not to accommodate disabilities in the workplace--particularly for an employee already on staff. Legally, however, that is an aside--my personal belief and opinion. What the court considered, however, was that the teacher was in a "called" position with responsibility for religious teaching. If those same criteria are applied to the Hale case, well clearly Hale is not reponsible for religious teaching and her position does not require that she be a Catholic. My thinking would be that the Columbus ordinance would then supercede any other policies of the church/school.

The spirit of "Anti-Christian" freedoms in the Obama administration and the "Pro-Gay" spirit or just the "fear of Gay Bullying Agenda" is so apparent.
The hatred of Christians by Gays is so obvious that their gay agenda is to silence or better yet, "crush" any Christian views and freedoms. They actually assume their gay views will not continue to be exposed as such shameful, so unnatural, disease ridden, extremely weird and gross behavior to the rest of the world..."IF" and only "IF" they crush the Christians words... the "bullhorn of the truth". The only problem with this gay agenda is that....it will not and "Cannot" ever silence anyone...(sorry). Christian or not, many straight people will always feel this way and eventually stand up to your bullying.
Most gays I know are Christians.

Whoa, wait a minute! Were you present at the interview?

What was asked, and how did she answer?

According to the diocese, she wasn't fired because she was gay, but because she has chosen life with a partner. And I don't believe that they were together 19 years ago.

So, again, what was they question that she was asked, and how did she lie in response? And how do you know?

Lied about what? Being homosexual? So religions organizations are not equal opportunity employers - despite Christ telling you to love your neighbor as yourself. Yeah, sure, that makes sense!

How do YOU know? As I recall, she has at least one child from a previous marriage, and nobody has mentioned when her current relationship started.

That will prove interesting as the COACE agreement with the diocese states that contracts may run as long as ten years. Perhaps she didn't lie at the time of signing, but that's a moot point now that she has publicly acknowledged her relationship status.

I was addressing the claim that she lied when she applied for the job. It appears that the person who claimed it (Concerned Parent) may have lied. Since lying is immoral, I wonder if they should lose THEIR job.

Uh, no.

Look up the criteria that they applied in the Michigan case, and then explain how they would apply here.
