A commenter raises a good question: Wonder how many times she voted?

"Alleged Shoplifter With 20 Aliases & 9 Birthdates Sought"

A woman using more than 20 aliases is wanted for stealing more than $1,600 in clothes from a local mall.

According to the city attorney's office, Rebecca Joyce White is currently wanted on three outstanding warrants for theft.

White, who is believed to be 56 years old, may have used 20 or more aliases, nine dates of birth, and three different Social Security numbers.

White's criminal record includes more than a dozen prior theft charges, placing her on the city attorney's list of "serial thieves."

Authorities listed the aliases as Joyce Beck, Debbie Brown, Debby Brown, Gloria Roddy, Corletha Smith, Corlethe Smith, Corlethea Smith, Debbie Smith, Coriethea White, Joyce White, Debbie Williams, Debbie Wilson, Janyis Wilson, Tanlya Wilson, Debra Smith, Rebecca Smith, Tanya Wilson, Corlethen Smith, Tina White, Cassandra Woods and Becky Smith.

White appears to have been targeting stores at Eastland Mall, as her arrest warrants stem from three separate incidents at the eastside shopping center.

"Shoplifting is a pervasive crime made even more troublesome by repeat offenders such as Ms. White," said City Attorney Richard C. Pfeiffer Jr.

She is accused of stealing eight sweaters and ten pairs of jeans from JC Penney; five denim shorts, three Capri pants, and three tops from Sears; 12 tops, two pairs of jeans, and one dress from Macy's.

In all, the value of the stolen items is more than $1,640.

While being detained at one point, White allegedly claimed that she stole clothes to sell to "Marvin" to pay for her drug addiction.

Officials said she also may appear to show remorse when accused of shoplifting, and may allude to "grandchildren" and other family members she allegedly supports.

"I havenít come across a whole lot of upstanding citizens who use 20 or more aliases in their daily lives," said Assistant City Prosecutor Bill R. Hedrick. "Iím sure individuals such as Ms. White have perfected their cover stories to elicit sympathy whenever theyíre caught red-handed."....

I highly doubt she was worried about committing voter fraud tip.
