Let's hope the Ohio lawmakers pass this Bill to rid of this outrageous form of teaching! We, OHIO! have surplus monies and don't need to be bribed into doing what the rest of the flock does!
America's idea of common core is a blip above animal training.

As a nation we should be ranked number 1 in educated citizens. Always.

Instead as a nation we are ranked way down the list in educated citizens, and college is 150K for a degree.

America's education system is broken, and to repair it is easy. Politicians won't let education be fixed. Too much money, and power at stake.

RS.....
I agree.
However, Kasich cut education funding in Ohio...prob because the incentive to go the Common Core way was too enticing.
Meanwhile screwing up the educational system to almost to the point of no return.
This country is all about money, greed, power and who you know to get to the top. All values are down the drain. Politicians are working to gain themselves instead of doing what they were voted in office for.
Will common sense ever take hold to them? How can they sleep at night? Don't they have a conscience?

I am totally disgusted with both parties....they're all alike at the end of the day.

I feel bad for my grandchildren ......and generations to come.
Wait what

Strickland made serious cuts which affected not only education but social programs, too.

Sooooo. They aren't satisfied with common core as it is. And they obviously dont think its a good "scheme" for implementing national standards. No I understood perfectly and can discern between a post with substance and your meaningless drivel.

What I see are people like you who cannot discern the difference between the head of the Teachers Union expressing dissatisfaction with the implementation of new standards and the same person expressing satisfaction with the overall scheme of developing nationwide standards.

No I really do. They don't want any if the blame on the teachers when the kids dont meet the standards so common core (as it presently is) isn't satisfactory.
That means that while they agree with the standards theydon't want to be responsible if the students don't meet them. They dont like common core, douchy.
