I turned auto correct off...I'll see what happens.
Oy.....lol
Thank you again.
With the setting as I mentioned, you'll still be able to tap on the word if it's misspelled (red-dotted line is under it) and have auto-correction available at hand.

Same thing happens to me, BizzyBee. matter of fact happened to me three times this morning on Grundy VA topix, once in the middle of my writing session. I'm beginning to think the moderator of Grundy VA topix don't like me and me a neighbor of theirs in Tazewell County, VA Imagine that.

I turned it back on and I will just have to proof read the posts more carefully.

That's strange.
How did you find out about him being a neighbor, or did you already know he worked on Topix?

It's too hard to diagnose without knowing your computers limits. You might just be trying to overwork a congested machine. Then again, it could also be your internet provider or a combination of both.
Here's a link to help in performance issues
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/im...
Or, you can Google a specific guide of your interest, because i'm very rusty at troubleshooting a Windows operating system. I can only relate with the universal aspects between the two(Apple & PC).
PS: A common issue is RAM when it comes to slowing down.
Plus, I'd recommend you "Disc Clean-up" before defragment every time.
I just got off the phone with my tech and part of my problem was that ie11 didn't install correctly on my computer. We did a bunch of stuff, and now 11 is working perfectly. I had to revert back to ie10 before to keep it working but it looks like they corrected the bugs that were in 11 when it first came out.

There are so many things that you have to remember to keep a computer running smoothly, and I am learning fast. Thank God I have a tech with over 40 years experience on computers and 2 way radios.

Also, I think my cats know how to turn this thing back on at night and they are accessing kittie porn.

I keep them both ON (on iPhone) and only keep check spelling ON (on MacBook).
I can't believe you didn't know how to spell I'll
Just kidding... I know what you meant.
Shortcutting with Auto-Correction can help and leave mistakes. Lord knows it types half my messages for me.

Good one.
I think my computer would be bricked if my fish ever pull that stunt.

Anyhow, Yeah...Reinstalling could fix a majority of unknown problems. Keeping it in tip-top shape can be hassle. Back when I had Windows XP, I kept a disc to redo every time I got pissed at it. Half of my time on a PC was fixing the junk and trying to make it faster.
I'm sure glad to be away from that headache.

BizzyBee, It's Appalachian talk as in howdy neighbour when in actuality we ain't living in the same nighbourhood. His ISP is Grundy VA which is ca 30 mile from my home, me in Tazewell County, it in Buchanan County by ISP but in actuality it is a muzzie, my slang with muzzerd for muslim, a muzzie lives up in the DC area, Fairfax County, VA. Not the moderator but a jerk I spar with, he keeps focus on me which is leftist tactics out of Alinsky's and earlier leftist writers handbook, he tries to keep focus on me while ignore that and right now am focusing on baraq o bamah and the funding of the rebels trying to overthrow Assad and kill as many Christians as possible.
It keeps calling me Nazi when I have explained beaucoup times I despise all socialists including the Nazi and communist kinds. So I ignore that. It's a classic leftist trick which Marx started with, always change the subject to focus on the opponent and off the subject at hand. People like Alinsky, Ayers, Chomsky and all leftist are very adept at putting the opponent on the defensive. What beats a good defense but better offense. Go girl, I love watching you and a couple others on Columbus topix spar with the opponents.
