I hereby nominate Jabenero the lawyer for this week's "Smart as Anthony Weiner Award." Do I have a second?

P.S. This wouldn't be the first time some woman was making a false sex claim.
also not the first time a lawyer exposed themselves either.

Women make false claims all the time. Even Duke can attest to that.
Meeting a client in your office, late at night, catering to the scumbag criminal element. Very likely she is crying wolf or she threw herself at him and then had second thoughts.
It is always assumed that the male is the predator. All a woman has to do is make a claim and they automatically assume that the man is the predator. i have news for you kids - it's not 1950 anymore. Women make false claims allllllll the time.
Good point Bob.

There's a long, long history of females lying, false hysteria, exaggeration about such matters, Potiphar's wife in Genesis, Twana Brawley about a District Attorney, Evelyn Bryant about Emmitt Till, Duke so called rape case, and in nearly 100% of the cases the male is ruined, imprisoned or worse even after it has been proven beyond any doubt that the female lied, extremely exaggerated even outrageously. Even our Dear "Reader" even went overboard on Boomer right here on this forum so this behavior is common amongst the "modern" females.

It would probably be smart for everyone to just settle down and let the process do its thing before drawing any conclusions.

The point is that you can't make the automatic assumption anymore that the woman is an innocent victim here. There are a lot of women who get through life trading sex for favors stuff they want. This behavior is more common than it ever was. I have one client, in fact, that had a similar situation that was completely false.
As anal as most attorneys are, it's very hard for me to believe that someone would impose himself on another woman, let alone the mother of a client, unless he was encouraged to do so by her. OTOH, there was another case where an attorney was guilty of indecent exposure, but that was in public.
I think she is either 1) lying; 2) encouraged him or 3) wanted some kind of quid pro quo.
I don't know the attorney, by the way. Just being one for all these years makes it hard for me to believe that someone runs around groping clients without being given the okay. Life just doesn't work that way.
I've been doing this long enough to have seen damn near everything. I have seen the scenario you describe. I have seen very prominent people do some really stupid stuff. Neither person involved in this needs people making assumptions at this point of the process. There will be plenty of time for comment after the process plays out.

That is interesting but completely irrelevant to the current allegations against him.

Not a bad strategy for a mother who spawned such a menace to society. Making a claim delays the trial and most lemmings side with the woman.
Stick to your story (nobody can prove otherwise), the attorney withdraws, a new attorney has to get hired (or appointed for him) and the new attorney has to get back up to speed.
That delays the inevitable for another year ... then yell "rape" again.
Wash, Rinse, Spin ...(repeat as necessary)
Simply a delay of the inevitable. I'm assuming her spawn has remained in jail since the day of his arrest. He's not going to stand a chance at trial anyway...so big deal, he gets life w/parole in 20 years with credit for two and half years of time served. The only possible reason I can see for wanting to go the delay route is to stay in the relative comfort and safety of the Franklin County jail rather than go to the joint. That makes sense.

Lawyers need to video tape their meetings with clients after hours or at least record them.

He'll be fine in his new home in one of Ohio's sixty year old maximum security prisons.
First week there, the Aryan Brotherhood will approach him with gifts of packs of smokes, coffee, gum, nude magazines, and embossed envelopes. He won't know that those "goodies "aren't for free until it's too late. They'll test him for any sexual proclivities, and according to how he responds will determine if he'll be raped or made to prove his "commitment "by either shanking a non gangbanger black inmate, or hiding drugs and weapons in his cell.

Either way he's toast.

Curious timing, huh? As the old saying goes, there is no such thing as coincidence.
========
"The allegations were made by Catherine Collins, 42, whose son is facing charges of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and kidnapping for his role in the slaying of a Dublin gas-station clerk last year.
Jeffery Collins, 23, is scheduled to go to trial Monday."

Why would S.W.A.T have to arrest an attorney working downtown?? We are living in a police state! That's BS! SWAT!!!
