I'm normally not for the death penalty but I can't think of someone that deserves it more right now.

If Steven L. Howard is found guilty and sentenced to die then about 17 years from now, after numerous appeals and about $3 million dollars in legal fees paid for by the taxpayers, he may be strapped to a table and injected with a combination of drugs that will first render him unconscious and then stop his heart from beating and his lungs from drawing breath. Harldly seems fair compared to the way he allegedly killed Blaine Petit. Shot dead in front of his kids versus a pinch in the arm and a long nap. This is why I am against Capital Punishment.

He'll plead guilty and get life without parole.

I agree to a point. He should get the death penalty, but should be strung up by a noose in the city square and left until he starts smelling so bad they have to take his body and burn it where it hangs. Now that would be justice!

If he is convicted now, you will see the execution in about 20 years or so

its funny that you say get rid of him now when hell sit on death row for 15 or 20 years anyways you douche bag you act like the death penalty happens soon after the conviction and sentencing process when it doesnt given the nature of his crime i agree he should get the death penalty but if madison county is anything like franklin county theyll pussy out and give him life or come too some kind of plea agreement to a charge like manslaughter or some bullshit i dont understand why we pass laws that are rarely enforced like the death or life sentences for child rapists the system is a joke in ohio.

If they are smart then they would not have or wouldn't say anything to the police. One of them probably was never involved or both was never involved, shtt if it was me then i would wait for my discovery and see what hatters lying on me about then box it up. Talking to the police could be either a discremination against self or in selfs favor, but still never talk to police in any case nomatter what. Always wait to see a lawyer first. If them guys are stupid then they are gonna talk to the police and conflict each other statements then end up taking a deal. There wont be no Trail if they both gave statements and cant back there statements up months or a year or two down the line

Forget the enormous amount of appeals allowed if found guilty he should only be given one chance for his appeal to be heard and granted, after that fire up the chair baby we are going to need it. The only to get all the violent crimes to stop is to start the executions and don't stop. Look at Texas they are the leading state for using the death penalty Their violent crimes have doped in the last century. So lets stop with the kindlier gentler society and start holding the criminals accountable and taking back our streets one criminal at a time.

If they give him the death penalty, I hope that he is at least guilty.

The fact that his sister "told the whole county" that Michael Scott killed BLAYNE is irrelevant when STEVEN had gun powder residue on his hands, and unless you sat through the trial with the entire family you would only know hearsay! First and foremost she stated that one man came in before the other! Second, Blayne was shot when he opened the fucking door! Therefore, if we are going off of he said she said, Steven would have had to be the one to pull the trigger! Not to mention the fact that if Blayne owed Steven money then why was there no type of argument, no words at all, why did he open the door?, why did they kidnap his fiancée, why did they ask where the drugs were, and why did they conversate at the bar prior to going there, why did they have a gun, and why have a change of clothes? If he's so innocent why didn't he take off? Why apologize in court to his mother? Why not fight harder? EXACTLY!!!!

Its the liberal attorneys like Duke and Che that are the problem. They drag out these cases when everyone knows the facts. The death penalty needs to be fast in cases like this with a 2 year maximum between crime and death just like the Bible says.
