Proposed Ohio legislation would open adoption files
Supporters say a bill now in the Ohio legislature would clarify confusing rules governing birth certificates and help adoptees get access to medical and other information from adoption files.

Many children are seeking out their birth parents in an effort to "connect" but that is the last thing a liberal would want.

Where are you getting the notion that "liberals" are opposed to this legislation?
I don't see that the article. And there are many conservatives who support such legislation. They want adoption to fix everything--sort of a no-strings answer to abortion.
