How many bottles did you go through last night? You can't even make a decent joke.

You prove my point above each and every post.

What really annoys people is that you site your opinion as fact. Your laziness really shows. Being a typical lib, you site emotion as fact. It is one thing that you're a lib, but a lazy lib is really weak.

“Meh.”

In my opinion, this is the worst congress in history......and I have been around for a long time.
It's all about power...now they are turning on each other.....what a sad display to the world.....we need a change all around....starting with the head man....
So disappointed...
I'm an Independent....voted both sides......
I'm neither repub or democrat...Both sides could stand a good beating... I agree this is a huge pissing contest that only the American people are getting pissed on.

<quoted text>What has that got to do with my question BR?

You blame the Republicans for the shut down not congress as a whole.

Again the Republicans passed a CR that funded the government in its entirety with 3 caveats.

1. The CR passed by the Republican dominated House of Representatives extends the 1 year waver that Obama granted by executive fiat to Unions, big business etc. to also cover the middle class and the poor.

2. Takes away the ACA exemption that congress voted for themselves and forces Congress to accept the same insurance that they have voted on for everyone else.

3. Eliminates the tax on medical devices which is driving jobs overseas and raising the cost of the devices for those who can least afford to pay even more.(even the Democrats want to do away with this provision).

Which part of the Republican CR are you against?
I'm against a government shut down just to prove a point. Who is responsible for that? ACA is a done deal. Why hold the government hostage over it now? That doesn't seem childish to you? Now Bohner turns down votes to end the shutdown?

Save your republican sales pitch for your friends. They've proven themselves to be bullies.

So, booner...who's to blame again?
Speaking of Booners...John "Booner" turned down votes to end the shutdown...

Now who's to blame, junior?

Rhino if you ever voted for a conservative I'd be shocked.

You support all lib causes yet you claim to be independent. Just doesn't add up.

Why doesn't it?
There are a lot of posters on topix who are Independent and tend to sway on one side more than the other.
Very common.
Here's another way of looking at it.....just because a person belongs to a certain party, doesn't mean he has to agree with everything that party does....you have to weigh the common sense....the policies on certain things, etc.
I don't know anyone who agrees with everything their party does, says, or actions displayed.
Do you?

I can't argue your statement. I find it very difficult to support either party as there is not much difference between the two. Sure they argue and take sides, but they only represent their donors not their constituents.

My point is that I have never seen Rhino critical of the POTUS, libs or Democrats. Only Republican's. Hard to say they're independent when they only support one side.

Don't forget you trying to get in and out of your Pacer.

Who said the ACA is a done deal?

It has yet be funded.

It can be shelved by the House of Representatives per the Constitution permanently. Try reading and educating yourself. What you are living is a check and balance in our system designed by the fore fathers for exactly programs like ACA.

Sorry reality escapes you, but as long as the house determines they won't fund Obamacare, it won't ever be implemented.

Obamacare is about as done as deporting all the illegal's, and closing gitmo.

If this doesn't make you support not funding Oblamocare, then you have no fiscal responsibility. More proof the American people were lied to get another social program.

My first time voting, I voted for G.H.W. Bush.
Dukakis was horrible. I believe in capital punishment, prayer in schools, gun rights...Aren't those "con causes"?

Come on man...I'm not a sheep, nor a bleeding heart liberal.

Barack Hussein Obama "The Obamacare act is not a tax"
