He already has, DB. In the short time he has been in office we have lost all global respect and trust. His embrace of the worst dictators that the world has to offer combined with his continuous snubs and outright attacks on our allies has made the US a joke in the eyes of the global community.

Fine... if that's how the druggie Canadian government wants it, let's shut down ALL commerce traffic across the Northern border. Let them depend on their ports.

Finally the stupid fish gets something right!
If Canada won't do things pumpkinhead's way....fuck 'em!!

We don't need nothing from Canada.
The Keystone XL pipeline doesn't need no Canadian oil in it.
Alaska doesn't need anything from Canada.
Shut off all US/Canadian trade, no commerce across the northern border!
We don't need nothing from them pot smokin', Maple syrup eating, polite bastards!
We'll show them damn Canadians!
Let's just see if Canada's 1,164 sea ports can support them!

We don't need anything from Canada any more than we need the Columbus Dispatch. Trudeau reminds me of a tall Pee Wee Herman. How the hell can you take a guy like that seriously. Maybe we'll start exporting our MS13 gang members to him. Tariff this.

Man you Democrats are fools.

The point of NAFTA is so that goods can move between Canada, US and Mexico just like they move within each country. But they don't. Each country still maintains tariffs on the other. As Trump has mentioned, there is a 300% tariff on some agricultural products going into Canada.

That's like Canadians getting to pay $1 for a loaf of bread, and Americans having to pay $3 for the same loaf.

Trump is saying to equalize the tariffs or NAFTA is of no use.

Second, China does not have limited unlimited access to US markets. China uses Mexico and Canada as a backdoor to get their steel and other raw materials into the American Market. This ultimately harms American jobs.

This is really the main issue. Trump is telling them to cut down on Chinese content, and they don't want to do that because they can't remain cost-competitive without Chinese content.

So, the bottom line is, if you want to open the floodgates and allow raw materials from China into this country laundered through Canada and Mexico, hurting American jobs, you are for NAFTA.

Probably not. Canada can trade with any country. Asia may very well take up when the USA is shunned.

We "used" to get most of our oil from Canada.
I thought we was building a 2,800 mile pipeline specifically to import oil from Canada, and send it to the Gulf Coast to be refined.
But Canada didn't cave to president pumpkinhead's tyraid so they are out.
Good thing Pumpkinhead got that pipeline construction back on.

As of now we get 41% of our oil from them. That better be one helluva pipeline.

trump is hardly trying to put America in the black. If he were, he would concentrate more on China. He is not smart enough for that. He only knows how to run the long con and you fell for it.

doesn't look like that on the illegal aliens issue. all over the world countries are tiring of the invasions, the un support all but one country making a stand,it is only wrong for the USA to make a stand on anything.

we need to isolate for awhile rebuild ourselves to what we once were, when everything made in the USA was made by citizens and all our products were in high demand do to quality, unlike now.
