What happens in the office, stays in the office. Eeegads, a body could go insane if they took that place seriously. At least they pay me well to pat crazy on the head and say "isn't that nice, sugar?" as I walk out the door.

I'm not going to let my cat know you do this. I might have a feline riot on my hands!

My mom would make it with bacon and bacon drippings and then season it with a bit of wine vinegar and brown sugar--sweet and sour. Not sauerkraut. She called it kapusta. I still make it that way but was looking for something different. Always looking for ways to cook up seasonal veggies.
I had in a fusion Asian restaurant in Vegas last year something called fried spinach. It was really really good. It was crispy but not breaded. Wish I knew how they did that!
You might look at cooks.com or epicurious.com .You can usually find anything you are looking for.

Love stuffed peppers, cabbage rolls made with the last of the garden veggies before frost, homemade cream of butternut squash soup topped with grated nutmeg. Pumpkin whoopie pies filled with marshmellow filling, pumpkin cheesecake with gingersnap crust and carmel apple pie. Gotta go put my apron on, this is making me hungry, Logan sounds like its filled with wonderful cooks after reading all the entrys.

Everything you mentioned sounds sooooo goood!
Thanks for posting and encouraging me to do some baking.
Tomorrow. I am making a Wacky cake. It has no eggs and it has oil and vinegar. The best dense chocolate cake EVER!!!
Also, something with pumpkin...I'm saving gokeef's recipe for a special occasion.
