I use chunks / cubes of meat not ground for chili. Prefer Deer. Tomatoes peppers onions a bay leaf.... and no beans.

That's similar to how they make it in chili challenges(No Beans), which is how I like it. Plus, the amount of time to dice up the meat took awhile. It seemed like they used some sort of steak or roast in their choice of beef, not ground beef(hamburger).
I'd vote your chili as the best idea on the board, Yet.

Correct. Real chili has no beans.

My chili is like a stew with chili powder and tomatoes.

For example Wendy's chili is not chili but kidney bean soup

You can use stew beef if you want, its already cut up, but you might want to cube it a little smaller. Sometimes I'll use ground chuck. Dark red kidney beans, tomato sauce and chopped tomatoes. The right chili powder makes all the difference. I like mine a bit soupy, not like that dried out style like Wendy's.

I use McCormick's or Gebhardt's, but I make sure its fresh. I can cook just about anything, but can't bake worth a hoot. I make a mean baked potato soup!

Potato soup sounds delicious, especially this time of the year.
As soon as it gets cooler, my thoughts go to comfort foods, reading and crocheting.
What, kind of Potato do you use and you bake whole first.
Sounds yummy
