Another "disenfranchised black voter" whine.

It is just early voting that would be affected. There's 4 weeks of that.

There's absentee voting. Vote from home.

Election day polls open around 6:30 am and stay open 13 hours(?).

How much easier does it have to be before people get off their butts and vote.

All early voting is bullish!t.
It's called "Election Day" -- not "Election Month."

Exceptions should be made only for the active military, the infirmed, and those who are scheduled to be out-of-town.

The motive is to make it harder for the black communities in certain districts to vote, especially democratic districts.
Politicians have done this many times, to redistrict, so it's to their advantage.
Theses are just facts.....

Because it's so much easier for white folks to take themselves to the polls on Election Day.
Damn Yankees leave the black folk shackled back at the cabin.

They have 28 days to vote early in person.

That's the the full extent of Black History Month in three of every four years..

It includes weekends.

They have the option of absentee voting on a ballot that comes to their home.

What more can the Board of Elections do to make it easy to cast a vote?

You simply HATE the fact that early voting increases the Democratic turnout huh Tippy?

Let me ask you this:

What is stopping the GOP from turning out the vote prior to election day, just like the Democrats do?

What's the problem there, huh Tip?

<quoted text>Amazing how that worked well until the 21st century, isn't it? Then when Bush won in 2000, the Demonrats decided that they would stop at nothing, no matter how blatant, to try and steal elections.
Actually, that was the point at which a lot of people realized the exact nature of the mechanics involved in the GOP's schemes of subterfuge that caused an election to be decided by the Supreme Court, instead of by the electorate, and they decided to do something about it.

Conservatives comprehend the meaning of "Election Day."

Yep...GWB designed the butterfly ballot himself.

because early voting has increased voter fraud, dookie. http://investigations.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/...
While that's not really a problem here, what's so wrong with avoiding it? Or even better why not just have election day? What's the big deal with at least remembering to vote the first Tuesday every November?? You're not saying most democrats don't even know what day it is, are you?? They seem to know when the first of the month is. Haha! Sometimes I love this job. I do.

The Constitutional Convention in 1787. Seems democrats have had enough political influence since then to abolish the electoral college if they really wanted to. Or you could blame Bush.
