The country was built by folks with diverse backrounds, but a common goal. And that was a good thing. A common goal and hard work dispensed with the diversity.<quoted text>
Keep the focus on diversity and understand what the outcome is. More confusion and less concensus. Focus on being an American only. The rest of who you are in the political arena and business world shouldn't matter, unless of course, you are demanding the attention and as many resources as possible be tossed into your "special interests." It gets tiring very fast when one needs to cowtow to someone's sensitive interests instead of the bigger picture of how to actually run a business, do a job, or run this country. You're a big girl. Go out there and get them with your brains, not your whining.
Now diversity has been modified into 'miniority' and all kinds of special treatment and benefits for 'miniorities.' That has, and is, building a wall and resentment.
I am the first one to tell you I highly, and loudly, resent the fact that my white male husband or nephew's company bids on any federal job against any minority owned company that automatically gets a 25% discount off of their bid because of their minority status. That is BS.
Which has nothing to do with women and guns.
