I grew up in the rural country way outside of any town. Almost everybody owned guns. I see nothing wrong with it as long as they're intelligent enough to be responsible with them. I think women are more pragmatical & sensible concerning what guns are really about. I know too many men which act like they're toys. |
Shouldn't you also take some responsibility for the many bad things done due to Diversity's political dominance? For example, costly foreign wars in the mideast and the burgeoning national debt? Mideast wars are prosecuted for Diversity people. How about taking a little responsibility for unconstitutional federal gun laws? How about the federal prosecution of Americans and non-Americans for revealing so-called states secrets, an in-your-face violation of the 1st amendment? How about taking responsibility for government Wall Street bailouts. Most of the taxpayer bailouts went to rich Diversity people. Why don't you accept any responsibility? |

You've got the wrong woman. I have never benefited from even one of those listed. Nor been held back because of my gender. I don't want to and I haven't needed to and these 'programs' only breed laziness and dependence, while discriminating against the non-diverse, say, the white male. There simply is no war on women. You're coo-coo if you buy into the lib thinking that being given something is more rewarding than earning it. It's a character killed to boot. A reply is not necessary. |

Judged: 1 Why do you keep using the word diversity as if it's evil & must be done away with? I have some news for you. Diversity is what america is about. Diverse beliefs & thoughts, races, nationality backgrounds, cultural isms, different religions, political beliefs, everything is diverse. What is your belief? That america is only about being a white christian male? It sounds like it. I like america being a diverse nation ~~ it's what makes america what it is. We're free because of it, because there are so many different things & people that "are" american. |

Please tell me what 'rights' were targeted and/or taken away. Are you talking about rights or hand-outs and special treatment? BS |

Judged: 1 1100 bills in 2 years isn't BS. It's attacks against 1 group. It cost them the election. A friend & I did a thread on some of the things before the election. http://www.topix.com/forum/columbus/TQB50LH6F... Rather than me go to the trouble of rewording it I'll just cut & paste something a friend did a couple days ago on the same subject ~~ Since the election along with continuing to attack fair pay laws, the pill, abortion, and other elements of our rights, these four things caught my attention. Guess what? Since the election still another Republican leader has said we cannot become pregnant from rape. I thought we had cleared that up? I guess not. Second, the Republican Party is even seeking to ban breasts, make it a felony. The Republicans in North Carolina have submitted a bill which would make it illegal for a woman to show her breasts (excluding breastfeeding). What is totally crazy about it is it will be a 'felony' for even a first offense. By North Carolina laws theft under $1000, various types of assault, and many other real crimes are only misdemeanors. But showing nipples ..... a felony with real jail time. Are Republicans this afraid of women's breasts? The bill says it would be a crime to show 'the nipple, or any portion of the areola, of the human female breast'. Maybe I missed something in biology class but don't guys also have nipples? Bring back the days of the religious-extremist puritans, huh? I count this as still another attack on women by the religious drumbeaters which have taken over the Republican Party. Third, is how Conservatives have very vocally opposed women filling combat roles in time of war. Fourth. A New Mexico Republican bill would criminalize abortions after rape ..... get this one ..... as 'Tampering With Evidence'. It would legally require rape victims to carry their pregnancies to term in order to use the fetus as evidence for a rape trial. The bill would add this as a new section to the law covering tampering with evidence ..... "Tampering with evidence shall include procuring or facilitating an abortion, or compelling or coercing another to obtain an abortion, of a fetus that is the result of criminal sexual penetration or incest with the intent to destroy evidence of the crime." Notice also there is 'no' exclusion for children impregnated by rape or incest, or for pregnancies which could for health reasons endanger the life of the rape victim. This is a deceitful way of bypassing a US Supreme Court ruling. |

Judged: 1 This troll has been spewing the same sheet for over a year. Has gone off before about equal pay for equal work and a few other things. Doesn't consider other things such as experience, education, prior successes, and whether the position is one of discretion and authority or a factory job. I have never benefited from any of those programs myself. Not much on "diversity" and don't give a fig if someone owns or doesn't own a gun. Heck, around here, hunting is as common as a cold in winter. I know few people who don't conceal and carry, and they're as responsible as the day is long. Sorry but the days of women being "discriminated against" are long gone. Tides have switched to a time of male discrimination, particularly white, married, Christian men. I don't play that game. If you're qualified, you're qualified. There are reasons qualifications such as education, experience, requirements are provided with a job opening. Also the issue of whether or not you are flexible and able to get along well with a variety of people is often an unstated requirement, particularly in the professional arena. I can often spot someone who cannot make a sound decision or manage their way out of a wet paper bag just by reading a resume. As for the gun issue, probably half of those I know who own guns aren't white nor are they male. Also know a few females who just love to target shoot.(I can't do to eyesight issues, but hey, it is a valid hobby and it is a good thing to learn for self-defense.) |

Judged: 1 Keep the focus on diversity and understand what the outcome is. More confusion and less concensus. Focus on being an American only. The rest of who you are in the political arena and business world shouldn't matter, unless of course, you are demanding the attention and as many resources as possible be tossed into your "special interests." It gets tiring very fast when one needs to cowtow to someone's sensitive interests instead of the bigger picture of how to actually run a business, do a job, or run this country. You're a big girl. Go out there and get them with your brains, not your whining. |

Judged: 2 2 Read the link I put down to at least post 23. Hand-outs & special treatment? You're not a woman are you? I bet you're a male nra member trying to push the women with guns agenda. Like I said on another post, women do own guns. More of us do everyday. But we're more pragmatical & sensible about it. We know the need to keep them from criminals. Whereas gun fanatics ~~ they want to play cowboy. |
