Despite an "improving" economy we added another 1M households to the food stamp rolls in 2012. Total number of people receiving food stamps is over 47M.

And food stamp fraud has doubled in the past three years.

Another high mark for the Oblamo administration who despite these dire facts continues to work on immigration, healthcare reform, gun control and many other left wing social agenda items. Oh did I mention unemployment has never been below 7.5% during his time in office.

Although historic for his skin color, Oblamo's results are by far the worst in my lifetime.

This is the key to Obama's coming Dictatorship, especially with amnesty for illegals whom will all "qualify" for welfare benefits, food stamps, Obamacare and further crush tax payers.

Yes, you are correct. However, I see no difference between the Oblamo administration and a drug dealer. Both take advantage of the addict which soon become dependent.

A drug dealer doesn't give drugs to someone that will not pay and collect from someone not using. Thus the drug dealer is a capitalist and Obama is but a filthy communist

Oh they pay all right. They give up their independence, their ability to live respectively and their pride.

Sure to many of them that doesn't matter, but when you have to rely on someone you don't even know to eat you are their slave.

Even more maddening...:

Taxpayers Spend $41.3 Million in a Year to Advertise Food Stamps, a 6-fold Increase Over Last Decade

by Caroline May

Spending on advertising and outreach for food stamps has increased six-fold since 2000 — reaching $41.3 million in 2011, according to a new GOP report.

According to calculations released by Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions Budget Committee staff, using data from the Agriculture Department’s Economic Research Service, in the year 2000 spending on advertising for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)— or food stamps — was approximately $6.5 million.

In the ensuing years, spending on advertising and outreach steadily increased reaching $41.3 million in 2011, according to the calculations, which were confirmed by the Congressional Research Service, according to Budget Committee staff.

And the increase in food stamps for the past 5 is without a budget. It really pisses me off that the govt can't even pass a budget yet continues to waste $. And it is both republicans and democrats, liberals and conservatives.

They truly believe the American people are stupid and who wouldn't believe. We should be protesting big time.
