Early reports say the Boston attackers are Chechnyan Muslims.

Whether or not they were acting individually or were part of a larger organization at this time is unknown.

So, how will the Libs in the media cover this?

And, how will Barack "Hussein" Obama handle it?

ABC stated minutes ago that AQ doesn't exist and all terrorists are.self.Radicalized. They are also emphasizing Russian instead of Chechnya and the Stan republics.

It's confirmed that both are Chechnyans.

It will soon be confirmed that they were part of the same refugee mess that brought the Somalis in.

That said, I'm impressed with their uncle.

You guys are barking up the wrong tree on this one. Chechnyans aren't fanatics or terrorists (except in Russia). They don't have a bone to pick with America ... they are here to work and make money.

These two were just disaffected nuts.

Arabs do have a bone to pick with America.

You are talking apples and oranges here.

Well yeah of course he's saying all the right things or he's going get his a s s kicked.

An American parent or an uncle would have blamed the others just like you blaming every one else.

The Jimmy V's restaurants are owned by Albanian Muslims. Do you think they secretly want to run around bombing public venues? They are tickled they get to make money here and don't have to herd goats where they came from.

You guys are correct about the Arab nutcases though.

There are two uncles in America.

But it sounds like the family was not close in the last couple of years. One uncle says they were losers. The other uncle says he got a call from one of them last night seeking to heal whatever the family rift was. He said he couldn't believe that they could do this.

Someone said, it doesn't take a party or organization to radicalize individuals or create terrorists.

I think that this one is going to take some time to work out.

This is just a wild guess, but to me it reminds me of an American Catholic who thinks the pro-Isreal position is the natural Catholic position because he grew up in this country and has been immersed in our politics.

Likewise, I wonder if by virtue of hanging around the mosques if these two didn't absorb some of the Arab antagonism toward whitey and interalized it as being synonymous with what any loyal Chechnyan would believe.

I think we will have to wait for more information. Dunno that they hung out around mosques.

Heard one report that one of them claimed not to have a single American friend. Have heard other reports that they were not only good students but also heavily involved in extracurriculars.

The fact that the two were working together sort of argues against the pattern of some of the recent killings (Aurora and Newtown, but also the Sikh Temple, which had more political overtones to it).

Their parents had left the country and gone to ?? somewhere in Asia I believe. And they were apparently estranged from their two American uncles.

Way too many missing pieces to speculate on.

My point is still the same, though. I think they somehow got a bastardized version of what a devout Muslim's loyalties should be in their heads. Maybe they weren't around their family or other Chechnyans enough to understand that the Arab Muslim view of things isn't necessarily consistent with what the typical Muslim in other parts of the world thinks.

In other words, I'm wondering if they took on some tribal ideas without being smart enough to understand that the way their particular tribe looks at things is completely different.

That's kind of my point, Spook. Albanians generally aren't religious nuts except when they're fighting Serbians, Croatians, Montenegrins, Greeks and Macedonians. Same holds true with Chechnyans except when they are fighting the Russians.(Many Albanians consider themselves Catholics that the Turks converted.)

Everybody has their share of fanatics. All I'm saying is that the typical Chechnyan is a different animal than the typical Saudi. Like Turks, they are far more civilized people.

Workable theory--I just don't think that we know enough yet to really apply any theory.

Far more information available in that case to date. And it's not about saints and sinners.
