At least we don't marry underage girls, have suicide bombers, enforce the burqa, etc.

It's been made clear that the abuse is no longer tolerated, now, in the public schools, that's a different story.

"Worses"? You could use lessons in English on top of the ones you so desperately need in history and current events.

Catholic Church

The Catholic Church has existed for thousands of years and will continue to exist in the future because it is built upon God's infallible truths. It does not compromise its teachings when it comes to faith and morals no matter how many individual Catholics disagree. It is not the role of the Church to conform to the wills of its members but rather we, as Catholics, must conform to the teachings of the Church. It's very sad to read an opinion piece like, "Catholic Hierarchy is Largely out of Touch", which was probably written by a fellow Catholic who does not comprehend the beauty of the faith he was given. We are not supposed to live like the rest of the world but rather be the face of Christ upon the earth. We are supposed to be lights in the darkness and cities upon the hill. If each of the billions of Catholics throughout the world lived their faith, following the teachings of the Church, the world would be a much better place.

I conclude with the following verses:(18-19) from the book of Jude. For they told you, "In (the) last time there will be scoffers who will live according to their own godless desires." These are the ones who cause divisions; they live on the natural plane, devoid of the spirit.

RCC needs to clean house of closeted homosexuals in authority positions.

All of the attacks were closeted male homosexuals sodomizing boys in their charge.

I know that if RCC does do the necessary house cleaning, the loudest squealers will be the queer community, the same people who berate RCC for tolerating sodomy attacks on kids.

The RCC unfortunately tolerated closeted male homosexuals with authority over boys, and it turned into a disaster.

Learn from your mistakes RCC.

Yeah, right. Tell that to the Orthodox.

In case you didn't know, "Jude" is questionable, and is included in the "antilegomena". How is it possible for a piece of writing to be considered canonical when it references as authoritative works that aren't considered canonical in either Jewish or Saulian traditions? Really. THINK about that.

By strict definition, pedophile means one that is attracted to the pre-pubescent.

Popular definition sees it as applying to anything with an underage person.

Some of the priests were with pubescent boys, and claims of it being with girls are less common.

Clement of Alexandria disagreed.
